Quite disappointing to be honest. Run down place with only six taps. None of them very exciting when we visited. Guess it was good before the beer scene exploded in NYC. No reason to go here again in my opinion.
This bar has a good vibe, and a very friendly bartender, who knows his beers. But if I wanted some Freigeist, I didnít have to come to the US. Selection in here was very dissapointing. The beers really werenít my style. Very expensive as well. We got out quick. Wouldnít go back.
Iíve missed it the first time, walked right past it. There is no sign outside so itís easy to overlook. Itís a pretty small place, but nicely decorated, feels cozy. Very nice backyard patio, feels bit magical like youíre not in NYC. Tap selection is limited to 6 taps, emphasis on Belgian and European beer styles. Same thing with bottle selection which is quite pricey. Service could be better, not the kindest people behind the bar. No WiFi. Considering it has such a high score on RB Iíve expected a bit more. However there are interesting brews on tap and itís a pleasant place. Worth visiting, but donít expect too much.
Cool bar and I had no problems grabbing a seat at the bar on a Tuesday evening. Taps had good local options. The bottle list was much more Belgian and Euro forward. Interesting cheese selection. Friendly lady behind the bar who was pretty chilled but in saying that it wasnít really busy at all. Another good addition to a crawl around Williamsburg.
Small, trendy and very busy. Long bar with cozy tables crammed in. Service pretty much ignored me, maybe too busy, but typical of NYC. A few drafts and large bottle list. Prices were high and not worth it in my mind. I may give this place another chance, but this visit it didnít tick any of my boxes.
