This place was a lot of fun. Great atmosphere, right in the middle of downtown Grand Rapids. Really cool old building that was huge enough to accommodate a large crowd comfortably. Servers were attentive and knowledgeable. Food is good enough. This is a must try if youíre ever in the area.

A nice long bar with all sorts of seating options. Service was pretty decent, but nothing spectacular. Selection was large, but after only a couple I found it hard to find anything interesting. Food is pretty good and hearty pub/burger fare. I can understand the popularity, but now with so many good options, it just isnít that unique.

Stopped in on a cold Thursday mid afternoon. Had to park a couple blocks away at a meter. The place was very busy. Only one table was available and it still had the last visitors remnants on it. Needless to say, service was pretty slow. Our waiter seemed good, but was overloaded. It took a long time to get a beer, but the fries we ordered came right out. Prices on most beers seemed overly inflated. The crack fries were good. All in all, donít think I would want to come here again on a busy day.

Stop #3. Really awesome looking place. It was a bit crowded but we got a table quickly. Great selection of bottles and taps. Food was really damn good, and they had good music and a nice lively atmosphere.

This review is for the Grand Rapids Hopcat. This is a good place. Good ambience, good beer selection and good food. A fun place, nice physical plant in an old GR factory. A complete package. Canít wait until they open their Ann Arbor location.

Cool spot. Big, open room that looks kind of like an industrial church. Big selection of beers plus 5 of their own brews. Food was awesome as well. Definitely hit this place up.

Great selection of Belgian and local beers. Some tasty bar snacks, some good food.

Oh goodness. Certainly on the very short list of best craft beer bars in America. Terrific draft list with a strong regional emphasis. Lots of rarities. Loaded with character. Helpful staff. Feels like home. The food could use a wee bit of an upgrade (itís typical bar foody bar food), but... meh. Still great.

Awesome tap list, awesome bottle list (expensive), awesome menu. Sometimes a pain in the ass to get a table, especially during busy times & on the weekends. But worth the effort. Get the "Grand Royal" if youíre hungry. Itís a sloppy joe literally covered in thick, cheesy beer sauce. I donít mean the meat, the ENTIRE sandwich is covered in it. Service has varied from acceptable to good, I think it depends on how busy they are. All in all, a must-stop if youíre in Grand Rapids.

Cool place in downtown area with easy parking nearby. Sat at the bar on a Wednesday night, probably found the last seat in the place. Fast, helpful service. Great beer selection and served well. Good food - crack fries were awesome. A little pricy but otherwise a nice place. Would go back.
