Plenty of dedicated parking right in front. Small grocery, mead is in the center main part of the store along with the wine. Beer is in the back in a separate room. Better than average selection, but nothing real special. Up front this place acts like they are going to help you. As I was explaining one of the beers I was interested she took off. They had several people working the beer section, but when I was trying to check out they were having a meeting when they were open (so bizarre and unprofessional), had to go to the front of the store to buy my one bottle. Not a place to go out of your way for, I donít plan to go back.

This has the feel of an old neighborhood grocery, but it has upscale food and beverage offerings. The staff is top-notch. As I pored over my book of beers I was seeking, I was approached a half dozen times by friendly smiles and offers to assist. Because it was Friday evening, the store was crowded and energetic, partially because several wines and beers and food were being offered as samples. Prices are consistent with most beer sellers. Selection is excellent, although there were no "wow" surprise finds. Worth searching out

When I visited: Late January 2013. What I bought: Worthington White Shield, Brooklyn Winter Ale, Shipyard Export Ale, Evil Twin All Occasions IPA, Great Divide Orabelle, Thirsty Dog Hoppus Maximus, Stoudtís Scarlet Lady ESB, Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, Portsmouth Red Bird Ale, St. Feuillien Grand Cru, Uinta Baba Black Lager, Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale, Sixpoint 3Beans, Worthington Red Shield, The Bruery Saison Rue, Green Flash Barleywine Style Ale, Fat Headís Head Hunter IPA, Revolution Eugene Porter, Finchís Fascist Pig, Finchís Secret Stache Stout, and Sierra Nevada Estate Homegrown Wet Hop Ale. What I liked: Insane variety of micros at competitive prices, well-organized shelves, many refrigerated beers, growler station, new arrivals section, staff were decently helpful when I asked for suggestions. What I disliked: Some stock is well past its prime and a few of the beers that I bought were gushers, but overall this is a first class beer store. Would I go back? Yes. Overall Rating: 90

Underrated and very solid bottle shop, tucked in the back of a gourmet market. Prices are fair and they have a growler fill station. They will let you break sixers to mix match. Cool people, ask everyone who walks in if they need help.

Been to place a few times as itís close to where I grew up, worked, played tennis, have relatives, 10 min. drive now from house, etc. Not easy to find if not fimilar with the area as its in a strip mall across from residential living. Expensive upscale grocery store with some hard to find speciality food. Beer and liquor are in a seperate room that is towards the back of the store. Good overall selection, has some local and regional growlers already filled, singles, 6 and 12 packs. Domestic and foreign are seperated and if your not familiar you may miss the foreign selection (which is pretty solid). Overall a good place for groceries and good beer!

A very nice high end specialty market. There s a good selection of American craft brews from Ohio and beyond. Decent selection of imported specialty beers. The staff is knowledgeable and open to suggestions for beers to obtain. This store does not seem to have a lot of room for stock. Show up on a Sunday afternoon to buy some brews and there will be empty areas of their shelves. Store does carry a little bit of specialty beer glassware, but space is limiting.

I didnít expect to find an upscale grocery store in this neighborhood. Iím talking $10 pints of artisinal ice cream and yellowfin tuna salad at $13 a pound. The beer is with the liquor to the left as you enter past the seafood stand. They had a fantastic selection of craft beer Mikkeller, Alesmith, Dogfish Head, along with a nice selection of local and regional craft beers. They have a small pick 6 section but at $9.99 they had some good brews there. The staff knowledge isnít outstanding. A lady before me asked for hoppy beer for her husband and the clerk struggled to find some selections. That being said itís worth a trip.

Down the block from Palmers if you are at one might as well go to both in search of beer. As you walk in head to the back left and go into the beer and liqour only place. They have 2 coolers for sixers, 2 rows of craft beer, and and a section for 6 packs of single bottles. The selection is decent, most staple craft you can find in better Ohio stores. They did have Rockmill, they say only one of four stores in Columbus. The service is friendly, not super knowledable. Decent place, not a desination and not going to find hidden gems.
