German brauhouse located in Miami beach. Friendly staff, medium decor. Very expensive and limited on beer selection.

First, this is not an authentic German beer garden. It serves pretty good German food and Hofbrau Haus brand German beer, but in a very South Beach environment with outside seating under the palm trees amidst the heat and humidity, with all fo the beautiful (and not so beautiful) people walking by. Now, thatís not necessarily a criticism. The food is good German food with emphasis on meats, and the beer is plentiful. Costly, but not out of line for South Beach. It was a refreshing change from the neon-colored drinks that most South Beach bars have. Servers tried, and some spoke German for a bit of anthenticity, but others were obviously less concerned with beer than tips. A good choice for beer in an area that has few alternatives.

Only house beers available, they are pretty good but nothing spectacular. The ambiance is nice because it is on Lincoln Road. Not a big fan of German food so I wanted to qualify my rating. Not a bad place but with Zekeís and the Abbey just a few blocks down the road, not sure I will make it back to the Hafbrau.

Fun place to people watch and drink some fresh German classics. Food? Nah. But its fun to drink their beers from their cool glasses and the beer chicks are fun too.

On Lincoln Road. The HB beers can be very fresh and delicious at times. Service, well that can be a little sluggish. Happy hour is 2-for-1 PER PERSON, Wednesdays between 5 and 7. Havenít dipped into the menu too much yet. Gratuity is included, so keep an eye out when you get the bill.

Easy to find location on Lincoln with seating area in front. Same standard beer list and food menu as the Newport, KY location with a lot less room and ambiance. Nice change of pace for the Miami Beach / South Florida look and food.

Nice little authentic German restaurant. Nice outside seating arrangement. The staff was seemingly all German as well, and we got the (from what Im told) authentic German service as well. Pretty much had to flag somebody down to to place an order. Had a couple of their house beers that I hadnt had before which were average. I wasnt bold enough to order anything too unusual food-wise, so I stuck with a simple chicken sandwich, which was pretty tasty. Good place to go if you like German ber and food.

Official outlet of Munich institution and not nearly as atmospheric but itís a good place to stop at on while Miami Beach beer touring. The beers are reliable, the service are not so much so.They will have 6 house brews (all imported from Munich) on tap at any one time, including at least one seasonal.
