Visited on a Saturday afternoon in August 2015. This is a huge barge moored alongside the Quay. Bar serves a mix of Bristol Beer Factory plus guests. Both beers we had were good. Finding a table was a struggle as it was popular. There’s other floors to explore which we didn’t. I wouldn’t bother trekking out to it but if I was passing I’d pop in.

Mostly BBF core range on here so not really a tickers place but its nice to sit on the deck and watch the boats when the weather’s good. Host a very popular beeer festival during harbourside fest. Food also good, and Sunday lunches v popular so advanced booking essential (Also arrive early as the meats can sell out!)

The Grain Barge is Bristol Beer Factory’s boat in a slightly insalubrious area a short way out of the city centre. When we visited there were three BBF beers on cask, two guests and a handful of kegs. The barge has a slung deck which goes up at each end, with the bar in the middle. It’s quite nice and certainly different but somehow it lacked character although there are interesting views over the river and across to the funnel and masts of the SS Great Britain on the opposite bank.

Floating pub I suppose, Like having a nice relaxing pint on a boat. Good selection of Bristol Beer Factory beers, all in good condition. I’d like to go when the weather is nicer on the open top deck

Nice floating bar serving a range of Bristol Beer Factory beers, excellent views of the river while drinking well kept beer and eating the very good food.

Floating bar just across the docks from the SS Great Britain and offering good views from the outside drinking deck. Owned by the same people as the Bristol Beer factory and usually has 5 of its ales on hand pull and others in bottles although, strangely, rarely the specials. Food is good value. Close to the Bag O’Nails and Three Tuns, so worth visiting both on the same trip.

A pub on a barge. Nice and cosy, reminding me of many of the boat pubs in Turku (though the ones in Turku don’t have any decent beers). Slightly dissappointed in the amount of Bristol Beer’s own beers, I had expected some more...

Nice, novel beer venue. Visited on a wet and windy night and it was cosy inside. Mixed clientele with couples, groups having dinner and people by themselves reading. Bar staff were chatty and friendly and happy to give samples. Several Bristol Beer Factory beers available on pump or in bottles.

We visited here on Saturday 28th January 2012. We arrived around 6:30pm and it was already quite busy though we managed to find a table. Seems to be a very popular place with a youngish 20s & 30’s crowd. The beers are all from Bristol Beer Factory with about 4-5 offerings on handpump and a similar amount of their own bottles on offer, go for the Southville Hop you’ll not be disappointed. Would be interested to try this place in the warmer months when one could sit out on deck as it were. Beer good, atmosphere good, enjoyed it here.
