We stopped here on the way to Denali. The bartender was helpful and attentive, the food was quite good and the beers we ok. In addition to their own beer they carried a good variety of other Alaska brew. The locals were great and overall it was a nice experience. If your going through Wasilla stop by.

We live nearby and stop in once a month or so. Ambiance is lacking, itís dark with a low ceiling and windows on one side only. The bar is nice. Service has been good to bad, but mostly just ok. The selection is usually good, but they often run out of their beer. Food is pretty good, they even have a deep fried hamburger (I know sounds weird, but itís really spicy and good). For Alaska itís not too expensive. Overall a good place to stop in for a beer or food, but is not very consistent.

Stopped here on our way up to a week long hiking trip in McCarthy AK. Was nice to find a brewpub on our trusty GPS...even if wasnít the best beer

Nachos were ok and the burger was well done. Food was rather average pub grub.

Service was lacking. Took them about 15 minutes to even come over to get our drink order and once they did it was a little over 10 minutes more until the drinks got to the table. Two employees argued over who was going to serve our table and once they did the food took a while as well. Just not very professional.

Beers were all mediocre and kind of on the water side. But Iíll let my beer reviews cover that. Best of the bunch was the Trashy Blonde Ale. Sampler was priced well.

July 2005: Jumping joint in an unlikely spot in Wasilla. Great lineup of brews, most of which were very good. The appetizers we had were OK, but it didnít matter because the beer was good and the service was friendly.

Friendly, lively little brewpub located in a suburb north of Anchorage. The town is situtated in a urban-sprawling area called the Matanuska Valley and a local politician referred to the locals as Valley Trash. They even have a beer named Valley Trash Blonde; which is pretty good by the way. There are about 16 rotating beers on tap - many different styles and ABV levels. The menu looks pretty extensive - I just had an appetizer of Beer Battered Halibut Nuggets which were quite tasty. They had a pasta bar with a chef who would cook your pasta up any way you wanted it and seemed to be a big hit with the clientele. All the beers were above average for a brewpub and they have 3 4oz samplers for four dollars which is not a bad price. Worth a visit on the way up to Denali or Fairbanks.
