A nice stop in downtown Madison, right near the Capitol building. No real street parking, but there is a garage right next to it. They have quite a few taps (~15), but the quality of beer was just ok. I tried a hoppy wheat (really just a wheat beer), old ale, and scotch ale - none really stood out. The food was good - I got both the chicken peanut stew and the New Mexico green chili, both were excellent. Overall, Iíd recommend a stop if youíre in the area, but plan to stay for just 1 pint.

Stopped in here after my buddyís rehearsal dinner and downed a few pints over some good conversation - at least as good as it could be in a huge, loud, crowded place. The building is cool, and the interior is nice enough but itís so big and jammed with shiny lights and TVs and college kids. Man, Iím old. But there are a lot of nice touches, too. The staff is young and rude and messed up my check. The beers are good, better than I was told, and the prices are pretty good, too. There were at least 14 taps and another beer on cask when I was there, and a couple bombers for sale, too. I had no idea they bottled. I didnít eat. Iíd like to come back when it isnít a Friday night, and Iím sure Iíd like the place a little more. But itís good nonetheless, and definitely worth a visit while in Madison.

A must stop if you are in Madison! Right off capitol square, the Great Dane will have something on draft for you. The food is always delicious, I recommend the Dane Burger if youíve never been, and start with the spinach and artichoke dip. The Crop Circle wheat is always good, and the Stone of Scone scotch ale is one of the best.

Visited at opening on a Saturday. Nice atmosphere and excellent service. Parking was difficult. Did have a nice selection on tap. Looked at the menu but did not order. Prices seemed fair. Will visit again on my next trip.

Visited on a rainy Saturday night with friends. Larger brewpub with numerous areas. A typical brewpub section, a more younger themed bar section, and a basement section. Good amount of taps with the standards and some nice seasonal offerings including a Scotch Ale, German Pils, cask mild. Lots of casks on this day (4), which is very special to see. Beer lists clearly displayed all over the places on chalk boards, so that gets a bit of an extra for ambiance. Food was surprisingly varied starting with traditional pub fair moving on to some Mexican themed food then add some Thai dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed my spicy peanut soup and the burger was not messed up. Our server did a good job. Love that all the beers are offered in almost any size you want and samplers of anything. Also, had one bomber available to go. Very good place, I would definitely want to return to this place next time in town, even if there are other new places I havent visited.

Visited on July 4th during the brunch hour. The food here was absolutely terrific. The service was great, and the beers were above average at a minimum. The outside patio downstairs was also pretty cool. Definite stop in Madison. (Brewery #611)

A nice enough place with 17 home brews on tap and decent bar food. The beer battered cheese curds were the high point of this stop. (thatís sad).

Good brew pub in Madison Wi. Great draft selection, their beer is middle of the road. Good menu and service is excellent.

Visited after GTMW 2012.

Why I decided to go bar hopping AFTER that fest is beyond me but the fact is that four of us stopped in, ordered a couple glasses of beer (wit and DIPA) and hung out for a bit before moving on to the next stop. Over all a cool atmosphere. Service was understandably slow on a Saturday night during GTMW weekend. Prices were average as was the beer. They do have a lot of house taps so itís worth checking out once. Didnt eat anything.

Walked over one night from the Hilton. I like that they have two distinct areas: bar and restaurant. No complaints about the food or the beer. Both were better than average with a surprisingly big menu and nice variety of beer styles. We had the nicest/friendliest waitress ever. I would gladly return.
