A great place to visit while in Cleveland. The score would be higher, but the selection isnít big because they only serve their own beers. Went here on a very snowy afternoon and the place was packed. I was able to get a table in the bar area though. Although it was crowded, my server was very quick to ask what me and the other people wanted to drink and she stayed very attentive the entire time we were there. They always have a few pub exclusive beers on tap, which are interesting to try. The food here is really good and everyone in my party enjoyed what they had. There is a gift store connected where they sell their beers, among other things. I go here a few times a year and it has always been a good experience.

Awesome historical setting but the beers are just okay. Prices are pretty high. Staff was awesome though and the place is huge. Certainly a setting for everyone with loud bar front seating to a quiet basement. the pretzels were awesome!

The building of this place is really something else. Its three stories with a beer cellar, main floor and attic. Itís decorated really well with lots of beer paraphilia. And the building has some historical significance as well.
I only had an appetizer so I canít accurately comment on the food. As for the beer, the sample flight had 12 beers. Overall very average with a few really well made ones. (The Blackout Stout is a standout and Edmond Fitz Porter is nice as well) and just like anywhere else sometimes it depends on your personal taste in certain styles of beer. If youíre in the Cleveland area it is worth a stop for sure butÖ. I would be more interested in a return trip to Fatheads.

This place was packed on a warm, sunny May afternoon during an Indians game. We eventually got a seat outside and only came for a beer. They do offer some special taps separate from their standard offerings. I got to try the ESB and Schwarzbier, which were both very good. Didnít try any of the food. Overall, a place Iíd be interested in coming back to. Be careful, this place fills up on a nice summer day though!

This part of Ohio City is a great place to spend an evening in Cleveland. Start off here at Great Lakes to enjoy some great locally crafted beers along with better than average food before hitting Market Garden, McNultyís, and more.
There are typically a couple of brewpub only releases on at any given time. In addition a small shop lets you buy take out bottles although you can generally get a better deal at Giant Eagle. Parking can be hard to come by depending on the time of day but a lot behind the building is available if you are lucky.

This is a great brew pub.. Iíve been coming here for many years and it is always a good time with good food and good beer. They have a large patio for outside dining, and the bar room feels like an old preprohibition place. The stilton cheese soup is great. They have most of the line up on tap all the time, with some pub only handles. Parking sucks especially if the lot is full, and the food is not cheap, but it is worth a stop. Try to arrange to be on the tour.

So my scores are all over the place for this one for different reasons. Ambiance is top notch, original old wood elliot and ness bar on the entry level, great vintage eating area upstairs, and awesome caverns downstairs, really nice place. Service was very good the few tiems ive been here and never been disappointed. Selections is pretty solid, only their beers on tap, but have all the staples, plus seasonal and a few one off brew pub only beers. Food is very veryt good, but are served in small portions. Vlaue was tough because the beers are well worth it, good, and fairly priced, but the food, while tasy, was ridiculously expensive, especially considering how much you get. Overall, still worth stopping for drinks and atmosphere, but I would suggest eating somewhere else first if going for dinner.
