Not particularly a beer bar, I think they have 4 taps. Itís a McMenamins so you know what to expect food and beer wise, mediocrity. However I really like the feel of the pub, I can hang out here all night with my cigar and a pint or a glass of port. If you want to go on the cheap you can bring in bottles of wine for a $5 corkage fee, I feel bad doing this though so usually get food or tip really well if I do it. The staff is usually more friendly that at most McMenamins, probably because it is so small and a pretty easy place to work. Itís still cigar friendly after the 2009 smoking ban, so go enjoy it, but just donít expect good beer.

Greater Trumps is more a Cigar & Port bar than a beer establishment, although, they do sell the standard McMenamins brews. Typical for a McMenamin establishment, this place has a comfortable, homey vibe. Kind of a wine cellar feel, small and intamet. If you go at night there is a definite communal friendly groove. Mixed crowd of people; Yuppie to Hippie, Tourists to Tormented... They have a wine/port related food menu - Cheeses and the like. The Port selection is Good with mostly mid range Ports, mixed with high enders. Prices are fair to expensive. The Spirits rund from quality hand picked Scotches, Whiskeys, Gin and the like.... All appeared to be slightly over priced for the Portland Metro, but an extra buck may be worth the cool vibes. They have Port tastings available in Vintage Flights which is a nice way to sample a vintners linear Vintage comparisons. Can get busy and service is fairly good considering the amount of people. Servers appear to be helpful and cheerful, although busy. I have not checked out the Cigar selection, but a friend who came with me said if was a good selection at moderate prices. Obviously, if you are smoke sensitive, you may want to sit outside at the cafe style tables
