fairly typical Wicker Park pub with a small draft and bottle selection but focus on regional and local craft. nothing special for the geekerie but something to suite whatever taste you have, it seemed. friendly staff.

great location right off the Western blue line stop, but amazingly I never spotted it in over 2 years getting off the spot... pretty dead on a Saturday night, huge place with tons of places to sit, cozy and cool decor... about 8 beers on tap, average list with stuff Iíd drink, a few tvís and a chalk board lists the board games you can borrow to play... not a destination spot but I will for sure be back sometime I just need to get a drink right after work and donít feel like going any place far

I donít really think of this as a beer bar but just a nice, neighborhood type bar w/ a bunch of good beers on draft if you want them. That being said, the place is awesome. The bar tenders are cool and remember you if youíre a regular and the atmosphere remains relaxed even when it gets crowded on weekends. As far as the beer selection, it is definitely better than average. Tends to be a lot of midwestern micros (Floydís, Bellís) on tap and they seem to sell well and consistently been in good condition. I have ended up here more than once when the Maproom, which is just down the street, was overcrowded and while the beer selection is not nearly as good, it is, aside from that, a better place to hang out. I tried to rate it mostly as a beer bar for our purposes here but as a hang out spot I like it even better.

Ah, my "go to" corner bar. Itís dark, not too loud, and has a nice (albeit small) selection of beer. My only complaint is that they donít switch out their tap selections too often. I guess this wouldnít be a problem if I didnít go there all the time. Also, Green Eye has the cleanest bathrooms in town (w/ fresh flowers!).

This is a pretty cool bar. Decent enough beer selection, though nothing over the top. Just quality, fresh beers. Crowd is super chill and the place is not overly crowded. Fun place to grabe a beer.

This is a pretty cool spot during the day or after work, though at night it gets pretty crowded. Nice and relaxed by day, with local art on the walls. Hipster meat market by night...Service is ok, expect to wait if theres a crowd at all. Beer highlights are American micros, such as the lone FFF tap, usually Gumballhead or RtB. Kind of typical otherwise, Goose Honkers, Anchor Steam, Summit Hefe. PBR reigns supreme for the cool kids. With the Map Room so close, its hard to make it to Green Eye very often.

Great service, atmosphere, and attitiude. Decent selection of beers micro, regional, macros, and imports. Really good sense of humor is found throughout, including some vividly colorful graphic art (for sale) on the brick walls. Friendly patrons too. I spent several hours there yesterday. Hip.
