Stopped in during my visit to Asheville. A rather small brewpub that had a bit of age and a lot of kitsch. Servers were nice and pretty knowledgeable. There were 8 or 9 beers on and the possibility to get a sampler. Some pretzels available but no real food. Prices were quite good.

> Small, divey Irish pub that happens to brew I guess
>> Strange place walkable from the ’downtown Asheville strip’. Inside is cramped, divey Irish pub with 10 or less house beers on tap. Quality was disappointing, some were okay. They had special release bottles to go but I wasn’t interested. TVs going, probably gets crowded and rowdy during sports games. Overall, I was not so thrilled with this place. Tasting flights available.

Smallish taproom in a warehouse-type building. 8 beers available when we visited. The beers were decent, but didn’t match up with some of the other breweries in town.

We came here on Saturday afternoon for RBWG, and it wasn’t crowded outside the RB crew. The tap room is basically the front quarter of a larger brewery building with a lot of character. Colorful, with a lot of breweriana and a couple TV screens. The bartender was very friendly, pouring tasters of whatever we wanted. There were 10 house taps and one special bottle for sale. The brewer also came over to chat for a while. The beer ranged from decent to excellent and just about everywhere in between. Really pleasant visit. Nice place to kill a few hours. So low-key.

Garage junk on the wall ambiance. Dart boards, rope and stanchions to keep people away from the kettles and industrial vacuum cleaner. Wankers at the bar yelling for another round of Crispins. Average beer menu and average beer quality.

Visited during RBWG 2014. A cool little tap room. Lots of beer decor hanging on the walls. Friendly service, good prices and good beer.

Visited during RBWG. A somewhat ramshackle brewery taproom. Lots of brewing ephemera hangs about in this warehouse-like facility, giving the place some pub-like aesthetics. The beers further enhance the pub feel as the majority are British-inspired styles (bitter, porter, traditional recipe IPA and stout). The quality of the beers was decent, above average. The staff was pretty friendly. The value here is great. This place is only a short walk from downtown so it’s worth stopping by.

Nice woodsy feel with a small bar inside that wraps around. Outdoor seating and a permanent food truck. Service was friendly, but not sure how much she knew about beer, the flight she gave me was pretty weak. Good amount of their beers on tap with a special cask for RBWG. Definitely worth a stop considering it’s one if the originals.

On the RBWG 2014 Asheville walking tour, tight around the corner from Burial Brewing. Fun place, with a quirky sense of humor and a pretty good beer selection. Service was top notch, as well. I could see us working this into our regular Asheville rotation...

A cozy taproom located close to the action in Asheville. The beers seemed to skew more towards English styles. The quality of the beer was quite good. Prices were unbelievable, service was welcoming. Overall, definitely worth checking out.

A nice pub with a sense of humor. The most comfortable bar stools I have ever sat in. Service was fun and beer was decent. Nothing spectacular but good and very close to a few other breweries.
