This is a serious beer store. Kick ass is the word. The Belgian beer fridge is way too cool. The selection was huge and so far everything has been fresh. Service was decent. I like it. One of the better stores in the US that Iíve seen.

Outstanding store. Vast selection and the prices are a bargain. This location probably has less beer than the Greenís on Buford, but not by much and this store has the climate controlled Belgian room. I always stock up on beer here when Iím in Atlanta, itís so much cheaper than up here in TN, let alone the wonderful selection.

Interesting location. Walk in cooler of beer is cool, but damn its cold too! Good selection. One of the better stores in Atlanta.

Nice location. Really just your average looking liquor store with decent beer selection. Couple nice finds that I did not see at Hop City but nothing mind blowing in terms of selection. Might be nice for ATL, but this would be a slightly above average store in most major cities. Very good prices though.

Plenty of parking, fairly easy to find, it is not large but has a fabulous beer selection. Not only are there plenty of six-packs and samplers of locals, craft brews and imports, there are a whole lot of single bottles so you can stock up on favorites - and maybe grab a bottle or three for trade. ;) They have a huge wine selection in addition to all the beer, and plenty of various liquors of all sorts. Their personnel are not the friendliest nor the most aware that I have met, but they are not surly or distant either; at least they are more than acceptable. If you live in or near downtown Atlanta, this is a good place to stock up on suds.

What works against this place is that most of the locals (Sweetwater, Atlanta Brewing, etc.) only bottle in 6 packs. So if youíre a suitcase smuggler like me, you have to ignore the local stuff for reasons of packing. Other than that, a fine example of a liquor store, good selection (maybe just different from the West coast).

Overall, let me put it this way. If you want some delicious and quasi-rare hard to find Belgians, this is the place to go in Atlanta.
However, that being said, the place has a very diverse clientele and the employees are not helpful and donít help you at all... the beer makes it worth it, though!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and wish Iíd had more time to look around. Nevertheless, still managed to spend more money than I needed to here. Large selection, and the service was efficient, if not overly friendly. I will definately go back.

Went at opening on a Saturday. A quiet store with interesting and eclectic clientele. They had a very nice selection and they left me alone to look at it and find cool beers. The staff were of almost no use. They had no organization that I could divine except for separating American from Belgian and imported beers. No organization to Americans, but man, the Belgian cellar is freaking killer. Lots of different and rarer Belgians and Mikkellers and Danish beers. Prices are nice, but I guess they price differently for cash or credit. I was fortunate and had cash.
