Like most of the other comments - they have a great selection of Belgians - especially Cantillon, Saison and Biere de Garde - as well as German and English but just donít seem to have a wide variety of American micros outside of the locals and a few others such as Rogue, Abita and Brooklyn. Definitely worth a stop if in the area - just be careful pulling out of the parking lot.

This and the Ponce store are the best beer stores in Georgia. I have been shopping there for a while now. The general service there is clueless, so donít even bother them with beer questions. Just ask for the beer-guy on duty. The beer-guys at Greens know their stuff tho, especially Adam. Atmosphere is ok - the outside of the Buford location is a lot better than Ponce. Regarding comments about there being not much micros at Greenís - that is a symptom of the state of beer sells in Georgia and not Greenís.

Pretty much the same as the other Greenís on Ponce de Leon. Slightly larger beer selection. The beer section is tucked away from the windows for the most part. as of June 2005 itís still mostly European selections but the US micros are starting to flow. Definitely one of the better Lambic selections Iíve ever seen. Only a few vintages are offered, but that seems to be picking up as GA moves forward with the 14% law.

This is my favorite beer store. A great selection of belgians and a few good micros floating around. If you want to shop for beer in Atlanta this is where you go. Hands down.

See comments for greenís other store as there was little to no difference, just no walk in cooler here. They had alot of good german and austrian strong beers here. No carding again, how odd.

The Buford store has fewer micros than their Ponce store, but far more Belgians. But the beer isnít in a window here and there were quite a few that I havenít seen before. Beer is probably less than 10% of the floor space, the rest being wine & liquor.

Nice selection of beers from Belgium, England, micros, and regionals. Descent prices.

This is pretty much the same as the location on Ponce. Almost identical selection and great prices, but no walk in cooler. Parking is easier though and the location is in a better area.

Easily the best beer store I hit in the Atlanta area. Huge, well lit, decent prices and every beer available in the south. Just about every year of JW Lees Harvest Ale and most George Cales as well. Nice belgiun selectyion as well. If youíre here be sure to go about a mile or 2 away for Fat Mattís Rib Shack, awesome.

Buford Highway location - Found this place by accident trying to find my way back to I-75 and remember seeing it listed - so I figured what the hell! Has a great selection, hastily arranged though and a few out of date. Belgium, England, Scotland, Germany all represented well here - but lacking in U.S. micros. Probably has at least 300 different bottles - rough estimate. Service - not the best in the world - had to help a lady find a lambic - all she knew was that it was raspberry tasting but it was beer - the clerk kept pointing her to the Smirnoff alco-pops. One positive - all the beer rang up correctly - no singles rang up as six packs - first time that has happened in a while when buying in bulk
