Overall poor. Drive to the other location if you want selection.

I went here fairly often when I lived nearby, it had a pretty good selection of six-packs. There is usually at least one or two beers that are on super sale that wind up being decent.

Originally reviewed: 7/16/09. Stopped by here when in town dropping my brother off at Ft. Jackson. Large building with half of the store dedicated to beer and wine. They even had their own entrance, which I missed. Beer section was tucked in the back left corner of the store. They had a large cooler section, which is all I saw at first. I thought, "man this isn’t that great of a selection." Turned around and facing the cooler was a large shelf dedicated solely to craft beer. Nice! That’s more like it. Saw some from Souther Tier (which we can’t get in NC), Thomas Creek, Terrapin, RJ Rockers, Stoudt’s, Weyerbacher, Victory, Bells, Founders, etc. Pretty good selection. I picked up some bombers of some Southern Tier selections. Not sure how fresh some of this stuff is. That’s my only concern here. Lots and lots of dust on some of these bottles, and they still carried some of the out-of-seasonal offerings from Terrapin, namely Big Hoppy Monster (last Fall), and Coffee Stout (last Winter). Prices were very reasonable. I’d come here for sure if I were a local. Recommend.

Pretty good beer selection but mostly readily available domestic and imports that aren’t very impressive. There are some nice gems here and there but you have to look for them. Friendly staff would be happy to help you find what you’re looking for. Usually fairly priced.

Not near as good as the big store out in Irmo. Still there will be some beers here that are not at the other store. Why??? No clue....

The absolute best place other than the sister location off of I-26 to purchase beer. They have one of the largest selections I have ever seen. Varied selection with different seasons. Only wish they received more of the rare vintages. Polite staff.

Fairly good selection, especially considering the other stores in the area, but not incredible. Some micro brews and a few foreign beers but nothing that’s particularly rare. Very good prices, especially when you pay cash. The employees are very helpful and friendly and there is a decent wine selection to boot. A good place to go in Columbia but not worth it’s own stop.

Pretty good selection of sixers, not so great on singles. Average-to-good prices, sort-of friendly staff.

Pretty much just like all the other Greens. Decent selection, great prices and even better prices when you pay cash. Not nearly as good as the Georgia Greens, but definitely worth a stop and I managed to spend about a hundred bucks so there is definitely some good beer to be had. Also had most of the SC craft brews I am familiar with.
