Surprising place in a strip mall. Low key ambience and service is nice. Selection is nothing more than the better beer bars in Knoxville, and pretty lame when compared to other regions of the US. Go elsewhere for food unless for some reason you must limit yourself. If you live in West Knoxville, or youíre visiting Knoxville and staying near here, itís worth a stop. If youíre just driving through on I-40/75, donít bother with this place.

I was staying near here earlier this year and decided to walk to the adjacent Kroger. On my way in I noticed the place and decided to stop in on my way back. Itís hard to tell what sort of place it is from the outside, because there are some less than ideal beer signs on the windows. But when you come in, itís warm, friendly, and a pretty nice (albeit dark) place.
Good draft selection and a decent bottle selection. It was nice to see that sort of selection at such a random place.
The somewhat abandoned strip mall location is strange, but that only means more parking for you. There was also this offensive burning plastic smell when I was there, but I think it was just that night.
Food sounded good but I didnít try any.

One of my favorite haunts in town. Decent beer selection or the area focusing mainly on craft ales over macro-swill. Very willing to get new and fun beers.
Anya (one of the owners) handles the food. Great brats (homemade sauerkraut), great homemade chili, and some truly wonderful chicken salad.
Only downside is it gets a bit smokey due to allowed smoking.
Great service and fun folks.

To be hidden away in a shopping center, this is a pretty nice bar. I got here right at four oíclock when they opened and was the sole patron. The service was quite cordial and pleasant. Ambiance is dark and fairly rustic, reminiscent of Union Jacks but a little more polished. Some comfy couches reside in the corner. The bar stools are awesomely comfortable. The selection is serviceable with 5 Olde Hickory offerings, some Sweetwater, Fort Collins and a few token U.K. imports. The bottle selection is about average for a beer bar in these parts. Itís a cool place.

Like any bar out west, the shopping mall location always throws me for a loop. Inside though, this is a nice place, great booths, nice bar seating, nice TV, and pipes and cigars are A-OK! A bit small which leaves no room for pool or some other bar standards, the tap selection is nice with some Olde Hickory selections and a single cooler which some fine picks from the bottles available in Knoxville, food is limited right now but said to expand.

New place by one of the former owners of Union Jacks. Nice place for a strip mall pub, lots of dark wood and stuff. Like UJís there was good selection of Olde Hickory Beers. The bottle selection is a work in progress, according to the owner.
