Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty small store, but they make good use of the space. A very nice selection, and prices seemed pretty good. Growler filling station with 16 taps. Sounds like if you are from out of town, they can ship you any beers that you pick out. Great place to check out and right near other good beer places.
Small, cramped store, but the ambiance is nice and the space is utilized well (ie. They fit a lot of beer into that space) - however, the small space does make one constantly nervous that he is about to knock something over - mostly singles and large format bottles, but some domestic craft six packs as well - impressive import selection - there were some locals, but not a ton - there is a growler filling station with a pretty impressive selection of draft-only regional brews - prices seemed fine, but I have no real context - staff was helpful and seemed to know the product well - quite a nice store, really - I wouldnít call it world class, but for the region it is certainly very good.

When we entered the store there was Left Coast tasting event going on so we were introduced to some Left Coast brews. Quite small store but nice selection. All the beers available as singles. Managed to find some nice Westbrook and Prairie beers. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Slightly claustrophobic, basement location as a decent cellar vibe. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Rare beers come through here. Excellent variety for limited space. Limited tap selection usually has something interesting. Imports are relatively strong. Willing to sell singles of anything without price gouging.
I came here after visiting another well-reviewed bottle shop and felt this was a nice place but second in almost every category: more cramped, more awkward layout, fewer rarities, more expensive. On the plus side, the guy at the counter mentioned they are open to trades if you bring in a bottle from an outside region!
Set up as bottle shop with growler station, but didnít allow for selling of points, if they did I wasnít offered. Tons of bottles in the space but older and cramped feel. Service kind of sucked, too busy yaking with a local, didnít even talk to me until I checked out. The growler fills were solid if not spectacular. There were more bottles but less locals than Community Tap, lots of quantity not quality. Nice glass shelf though.
Best selection of beer on the east coast as far as Iíve seen. The website is easy to use, always up to date and if I have any questions, a quick call to Zack gets me the answers I need. I never thought Iíd visit the place since I donít like to drive anywhere north of Jacksonville, FL, but a recent flight to Austin, TX had a lengthy layover in Greenville of all places. My wife wasnít opposed, so we grabbed a taxi to the store and the place couldnít be more organized or clean. Ridiculously clean. Obsessively and compulsively clean. Friendly service and some great stuff on tap for growler fills. Cheers to Zack and the whole crew at GBX!
Online ordering is outstanding, pricing is very reasonable and shipping is prompt!! Zach and Cameron are superb beer salesmen. Both have one helluva lot of beer knowledge and are willing to share this info anytime I call. Keep up the good work and keep the brews flowing!!
