It’s apparently a popular place in the neighborhood and they offer a good dozen draft beers of which about half are their own. The quality of the beer was average to below average so there wasn’t a lot that interested, sadly. Low ceilinged, chill music, dark pub with no particular theme or focus, just a hangout for college aged drinkers.

Brewing it’s own microbeer from August 2013. haven’t tried it. Serves very good pubfood, like fish & chips and burgers. Nice service staff. Not the biggest selection, but pretty decent.

Probably my favorite place in the Grünerløkka district. An old beaten up pub with a true neighbourhood bar feeing. Medium size place, tourist-free (except for us!), a few benches on the sidewalk for a dozen people. 15 tap lines with only 4 of them occupied by Norwegian micros!?!? 11 of the 15 tap lines were mostly occupied by Mikkeller, other Danish micros, English micros, USA micros, Tilquin, some German micros, etc… A list of 50+ bottles written on a black board but my bartender said they had more bottles than what was written on the board and they don’t always update the board, so it is up to you to spot something you want in the fridges behind the bar. Bottles ranged from classic affordable bottles (affordable by Norwegian standard) to pricey extreme beers like Black Tokyo Horizon ($55 for a 300ml, welcome to Norway). The customers were mostly party people, a bit on the left side, artsy type, I felt like I was back in my local Cheval Blanc in Montreal. I remember drinking a Gueuze Tilquin Draft Version and something else. Very cool place if you like true neighbourhood pubs with character.

Nice place with benches. The walls and ceiling have tiles on them making the room look a bit like an old dairy. The service was okay. Good selection of bottles and an okay range of taps with heavy focus on Norwegian beer. From august 2013 they plan on brewing their own beer. The bangers and mash was tasty and plentiful.

Cozy, informal place with simple, but good food. The beer selection is great, both on tap and bottles.

Great place to grab a couple of beers. The service is probably the best in Oslo hands down. Great beer selection. I can’t wait to see what their brewery starts producing.

Small and cozy place in the heart of Oslo. Decent selection, and regarding its a quite new pub/brewery they are doing ok.

Went with a couple of friends on a Wednesday evening, despite the time of the week the place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. The place is nice but quite small, they’ve managed to utilize the space in a good manner though, and given the very limited toilet facilities it’s probably a good thing the place isn’t bigger. They had a very impressive amount of micro beers on tap, along with Guinness, Old Speckled Hen, and a couple of dull lagers. At the time they had their standard Kjell Hop, which was nice, and a brilliant seasonal Løkka Haust brewed by Kinn. The bottle selection is nice but not as huge as you’ll find at some of the other places in Oslo. I didn’t try the food, but the sausages smelt freaking amazing. The place has also got a satellite project going at the newly opened Vulkan Mathallen a few blocks to the west.

This is a kind of place that you can go to and have a good time while enjoying great beer. I am probably a little bit younger than the average craft beer enthusiast, and for me, this was exactly what I wanted. This place had excellent beer selection, a knowledgeable staff, awesome ambiance, and a really hopping nighttime crowd. I like being able to drink awesome beer like Mikkeller Kaffe IPA and Nogne O Single Hop, while also being able to mingle with local Norwegians. If this is too loud for you, I understand, but this place deserves to be rated WAY higher than 76. Downside is that it was a wee bit more expensive.

This place had the second smallest toilet I’ve seen at a bar - my butt kept setting off the hand dryer. Of course, that’s a small complaint when the tap list is so good, and the bottle list so varied. I do wish they had a printed or online bottle list though. Staff was extremely kniwledgeable and fruendly. Worth going well out of you way for.
