Always quite crowded. Good central location, but hidden from tourists. Always an impressive list of good quality draft beers on their 10 pumps. Also have interesting bottles from time to time.

Definitely in the top 10 places in Edinburgh to get a nice pint of cask. Ambient and beautiful interior. Polite and attentive service. If youíre in the area, at least pop in for a half.

Central location just off Princes Street with Waverley Station nearby, impressive traditional interior and bar, entered via a revolving door. Wide range of handpulls serving real ales and a number of beer taps. A favourite pub to visit when in Edinburgh.

Visited a few times so far, most recently for a quick half between train transfer at Waverley. Guildford Arms is a rather grand pub with a focus on quality cask ale. 10 taps on offer as well as a few bottles. On my last visit they had a mini Oakham fest so the range was half Oakham, half Scottish Micros. Good condition. A pretty great traditional pub in a rather central location. Always worth stopping past.

A very classy establishment. High ceilings with intricate inlay, classic floral wallpaper, attention to detail in everything from the table tops to the walls to the taps. Good selection of real ales as well as the usual tap beers. Excellent pub in the center of Edinburgh just off Princes St.

Visited this pub on the Great Graig Pubcrawl Tour 23/4-2012.
A large pub in the citycenter. They often have their own small beerfestival going on, therefore this place is always worth a visit. They have a small restaurent upstairs, where they do great food. The pub has a very open space and great deko. Friendly staff, but a bit touristed.

Rather a grand and spectacular Victorian style pub in a very central location, very handy for the buses. Big windows, plenty of light, plenty to look at. Good for Scottish micro brewery beers. Met Craig in here, he had an inkling we would start there. Nice buzz about the place, but as mentioned before, quite pricey.
