Itís a definite stop if youíre in Dublin for the first time, but I found the experience a bit soulless. I did what felt like a self-guided factory tour, most of the displays were very high tech but the content was dumbed down about as far as you could get. Great view from the Gravity bar but only one offering; I didnít stick around for a meal or to try the other bar so I canít rate that, but I understand there is a marginally wider selection of beers there. Service was of the "go away solo traveller, we have a big tour group to take care of" variety A bit of a tourist trap, but worth a visit once.

It doesnít look like much has changed since the last time I visited a decade ago. Still have the museum tour thatís more about the brand than the beer. Thereís a big souvenir store plus the pints. Of course it was less than a fiver my last time here. Not a beer destination but a visit to Dublin feels incomplete without a trip here.

Letís dispel the myth that Guinness tastes noticeably different here - it doesnít. The difference, if any, is pretty damn subtle, and the selection is limited to Guinness and its variants. If you go to the Gravity bar (nice views) you can only get Guinness draft. At the connesseurs bar you can get Extra Stout and Foreign Extra Stout. The "brewery" tour is really touristy, and very basic. Itís basically beer for dummies. Overheard an American tourist comment on a display about hops that he didnít know the US grew hops. Wow. But thatís the sort of people this is geared at. Moderately entertaining, but hardly a pilgrimage. Also, this is a museum not a brewery.

Great place to visit. Not your typical brewery tour but then again, itís not your typical brewery. Best Guinness you will ever have.

Guinness experience to its highest level. All Guinness here and at restaurants there are the rest like Smithwicks and Harp.

This is a great place and a must see for any beer lover while in Dublin...or Ireland for that matter. The low ratings reflect only one thing really...the fact that you really canít rate "selection" higher than even a very friendly 5 or 6. Nonetheless...if you love beer...craftbeer or not...this is a great tour and a great view from the top...especially with the "perfect pour" in your hand. I also tried the food and thought the Guinness stew was excellent.

I just love visiting breweries, destilleries and stuff, so the Guinness tour was a "must-have" during my time in Ireland. The tour through the brewery was really nice and visitable. It ends in the Gravity Bar which is at the very top of the Storehouse and offers you a great view of Dublin (I love that city). Selection is Guinness-limited but nice and the beer tastes really nice freshly draught. When you have the time and opportunity, this place is worth a visit.
