Quick swing through on my way up 95. Kind of a knotty section of town, though it’s not the store’s fault that the street layout is a bit challenged. Spacious and well-stocked joint, with beer taking up a sizable portion of the store’s back third. You won’t find the kind of selection you’d expect in Atlanta or anything, but there were loads and loads of craft micros well represented. Some CCB, Wild Heaven, and other fine regionals, good selection of Cali stuff from Port/LA, Bruery, and others. Belgian selection wasn’t the greatest I’ve seen but it was certainly solid. If you’ve got some time while on the highway, it’s worth a stop, and obviously essential if you’re staying in Savannah.

Popped in here to stock up for vacation and try to score a few things we don’t get at home. It’s ambiance is like your basic grocery store. The guy in the beer section was very enthusiastic and helpful. Pretty good selection, though not as much different stuff as we’d hoped (perhaps we have to go farther afield). Prices were a little higher than at home.

This is my go to BeerStore. This is the premier place to get craft beer in the region. All beer is in the back and is divided by American Craft, Domestic, and European. I cant really say enough good things about this shop, I simply love it and make the 40 mile trip about once a week.

Supermarket feel, but a lot of real winners here. Check the glass case up front for pricey rare stuff. By far the class of the area.

This liquor store is probably your best bet for stocking up on bottles in the Savannah area. It’s well lit and well organized with lots of Lost Abbey and Port Brewing beers as well as some Cigar City. They do get seasonal and some rare releases. I didn’t have much interaction with the staff, but the guy at the check out was nice enough (and seemed quite happy about how much beer I was buying). Definitely worth a stop if you are in Savannah.

My favorite beer store in Savannah. It has a section dedicated to beer, and this store is where I got my start into craft beer. An American side, and a European side greet you when you arrive at the back of the store, with the domestics in the coolers. They have a decent selection from all over the world. The staff is friendly and helpful!

This place is much larger than I thought it would be. It’s basically a large liquor store so there’s not much of an ambiance but I will give them credit for being clean and well-organized. They keep the beer in the back, which again, is well-organized. I must say, the selection is better than I expected. As far as distribution goes, it’s amazing the difference one state makes. A full line of Port/Lost Abbey (how did they end up in Georgia?), Founders, New Belgium, Sweetwater, Tuppers, Moylans, all of these we don’t get in Florida. Of course, there’s also plenty of breweries here we do get in Florida, such as, Stone, Avery, Stoudts, and Terrapin. No Cigar City, so that’s one we got on them, but I hear that might be changing. There are two Habersham locations in Savannah but since I heard this one was the superior one for beer I didn’t bother to check out the other. This is located only about 6 miles from where we were staying in the historical district but traffic getting to and from was a bit of a pain. If in the area, this is definitely worth checking out.

A bit warehouse-y. But they let me break down 6-ers of whatever I wanted. Had what I can assume was a great selection, seeing is how this is only the second liquor store I’ve been to in GA. Really nice staff, and some gems of beers hidden in the warm shelves. Some cold singles, as well.

WE have made the 2.25 hour drive to this place many times now, well we visit family there if we have too, lol Even without Family I would go, the selection is better than anything in my local area, JAX. 3 rows of beer, what can I say, its almost as good as Greens in Atlanta.
