This liquor store is probably your best bet for stocking up on bottles in the Savannah area. Itís well lit and well organized with lots of Lost Abbey and Port Brewing beers as well as some Cigar City. They do get seasonal and some rare releases. I didnít have much interaction with the staff, but the guy at the check out was nice enough (and seemed quite happy about how much beer I was buying). Definitely worth a stop if you are in Savannah.

After Ratebeer Winter Gathering in Tampa, I was in search of a beer store that I could walk out of with cases of unrated single 12oz beers. I couldnít find any satisfying beer store that could do that for me in Tampa, but luckily I happened to be stopping in Savannah to visit my sister, and this Habersham place is just the ticket. Parking was easy, once you understand where the place is (itís in a kind of congested commercial area of town). They offer singles of every beer that they have, and they have a pretty impressive regional selection. The inside is not much different from every other big lot liquour store youíve seen, but it was clean and well-kept, canít complain too much. Service was good, a guy with a broken foot who seemed to be a beer manager asked me several times if he could help me, and was patient and helpful when I took him up on the offer. There is a wide variety of local and regional offerings here, but the main thing that you have to watch out for is older bottles. Unfortunately many of the local breweries donít date their 12oz at all, so itís kind of a crap shoot. I have a feeling that the local distributors arenít very helpful in in the freshness challenge either. From the 2 cases of beer I got, about 25% of them were infected, clearly old, or just plain bad. I ended up dumping a good bit of beer down the drain that I got from this place, but overall I was ecstatic to find a place that could actually offer me the massive variety of local single bottles to try that I was seeking. I believe I paid about $95 for my two cases, which was reasonable (they offer a case or 6pk discount, I canít remember which -- prices are much higher for lone single 12ozís). Overall, Iím very glad I found this place. I would stop by again if Iím ever back in town -- but Iíll be much more discerning and meticulous about the stuff I grab. I didnít notice the glass case of "rare beer" up front that I see others are mentioning now, I guess Iíll have to look for that if thereís a next time. Tickerís delight, just donít expect everything you grab to be in peak condition.

We had a little difficulty with the sat. nav. and drove round a huge mall car park several times before spotting this place in a much smaller parade of shops on the opposite side of the road. It sells mainly wine and spirits but has a decent beer section at the back. Unfortunately many of the local beers were only available in six packs - not much use when you have only a few days left in the country and are leaving by Ďplane. You can build your own six pack of some of the larger bottles, the price depending on the contents, but not all the bottles were included in the deal. Still, there was a good selection and the service was friendly.

Parking OK. A little dimly lit on a dark night. I love the disheveled look of the beer section where people have been hacking out singles. 2.5 - 3 full aisles of craft brew, lotsa regionals. Staff was very helpful, but not pushy. A must stop if in Savannah.

Generally a good place with a couple rarer beers I canít find in my area. A food selection of European imports. Prices are anliwee below average for the most part. Great that you can buy singles of everything.

OK, just about everything is available as a single, the staff is enormously helpful and friendly, and my total bill for two cases of singles was under $100. Need I say anything else?

This Habershamís outpost provides the best beer selection in Savannah. Typical liquor store interior with the main beer selection located at the back of the store. Well organised and varied selection. Plenty of interesting stuff from the likes of Boulevard, New Belgium, Founders, Bells and CCB to name but a few. Pricing seems pretty good to me. A must-visit when in Savannah.

Not a bad beer store, found a few things I couldnít get in FL. Didnít see the glass case upfront, but thatís a good reason to go back?

Quick swing through on my way up 95. Kind of a knotty section of town, though itís not the storeís fault that the street layout is a bit challenged. Spacious and well-stocked joint, with beer taking up a sizable portion of the storeís back third. You wonít find the kind of selection youíd expect in Atlanta or anything, but there were loads and loads of craft micros well represented. Some CCB, Wild Heaven, and other fine regionals, good selection of Cali stuff from Port/LA, Bruery, and others. Belgian selection wasnít the greatest Iíve seen but it was certainly solid. If youíve got some time while on the highway, itís worth a stop, and obviously essential if youíre staying in Savannah.

Popped in here to stock up for vacation and try to score a few things we donít get at home. Itís ambiance is like your basic grocery store. The guy in the beer section was very enthusiastic and helpful. Pretty good selection, though not as much different stuff as weíd hoped (perhaps we have to go farther afield). Prices were a little higher than at home.

This is my go to BeerStore. This is the premier place to get craft beer in the region. All beer is in the back and is divided by American Craft, Domestic, and European. I cant really say enough good things about this shop, I simply love it and make the 40 mile trip about once a week.
