The reason for going here is not the tap list, the food or the great service. It is the good selection of bottles at resonable prices. The service when it comes to food is very slow and impolite. Avoid eating here!

Great selection of bottles with good prices for Sweden! A few taps, nothing special on tap during my visit. Didn’t try any food. You don’t mind about the ambiance with such great beers in their refrigerators

I go here often, since early 2006, moving up my place rating. With the Japaneese restaurant Yamato next door (same owner) and the beers at Haket, mixed with the great staff, this place is awesome! Big selection from Scandinavian micro’s on bottle. One of the best places in Göteborg when wanting to sit down and have some great beer at very reasonable prices. Thought they don’t carry so many draught beers, the bottled selection (and the nice prices) makes it more than worth while to visit. Bottle selection also updates quite frequent. Sometimes quiz, sometimes karaoke, sometimes a club of some sort, other days "just" beer night. Big nice mix of various people in the crowd.

Great bottle collection. Very few taps but there are some really good beers rotating from time to time. Staff is extremely friendly. Food is very good, especially the Japanese stuff. Prices are fair. Ambience of the venue is pretty close to terrible but the friendly guests, staff and good music that’s usually playing in the background makes up for some of it. Only drawback is the venue and the risk of some beers, especially IPAs being past their prime.

Stumbled upon this place after spending time at other bars in the area. Good sized bar with ample seating and a strong Thursday night crowd - younger audience than the other bars in the area. Very wide bottle selection of many craft beers from Scandinavia, northern Europe and US. Decent number of draft handles and very creative hand drawn artwork on some handles. Bartender was knowledgable and very willing to discuss beer even though the bar was quite crowded.

Haket is the opposite of a cozy bar, it has a pretty rough image and plays all kinds of high energy music - from metal to electro. It’s kind of narrow and packs a good bunch of people along the bar, so one usually have to walk sideways to get to the restrooms. But the beer selection is great, both on draft and bottle, with many American and Scandinavian craft beers (Weyerbacher, Founders, Djævlebryg, Mikkeller and Nøgne Ø on my last visit). The staff knows their beer too and the prices are good so despite the noisy atmosphere I always enjoy a beer or four at Haket while I’m in town. Last visit: Feb 3, 2012.

Loved this place! Great atomsphere is created through the fantastic mix of people and the super friendly staff (they made me feel like a regular customer, on my first visit). Good beer selection, lots of bottled beers, the tap selection is however quite small. Really good and cheap food. Beer is used in the coocking.

Visited Haket during the beer festival and got a good feeling of from the place. They have a wide selection of beers including some rarities, though not that many tap beers. I didn’t got a chance to try the food but from what I could see it looked amazing.

Very nice selection of bottled beer, some really rare and some very great but cheaper than most places. They have great sushi and chocolate. The people that work there are cheerful and helps beginners and also people who don’t really like beer. So it’s a great place for me to hang around at if I’m with non-beer-drinkers.
