Hard to find macros (PBR, Schaefer, Pearl) and a decent selection of meads and micros. Not bad for North Texas.

Look, when youíre beer hunting in DFW, youíre talking differences at the margin: perhaps Central Market doesnít have the full line of Julius Echter available when you go; or perhaps Mr Gís had Old Ruffian when other stores in the area didnít yet have it out. Whatever. Itís not like weíre talking about one store being the BE ALL END ALL of beer hunting. Halls has some marginal victories at the high end and the low end: Iíd never even heard of, much less seen, Schaeferís Light (for $1.09 for a big can!); and they had Avery The Beastís new release. But since Iíd had The Beast in its previous release (bought at Central Market), how big of a deal is this? Good: almost all beer in coolers, Chaucerís Mead (the only place Iíve seen it in DFW so far), sake selection comparable to Central Market-Lovers Lane. But will I make special trips out here? No. But I will check it out when Iím headed to Fort Worth or Tadís for any reason.

The largest selection of beer in the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex. In close proximity to DFW airport for those of you who travel. However, I will not be back due to the high prices of singles....

Re-Rate: DO NOT GO TO HALLíS. I just got back from a trip there. They tried to charge me $3.50 EACH for a single 12oz. of Rahr beer. Charlie Hall is a greedy SOB. Stay away.
