well-worn interior and ambiance with choice draft list and extensive bottle list. two Schlenkerla kegs on during my visit. everything to satisfy your tastes, from lambic to burly stouts to farmhouse ales.

Went here for the Beer & Boobies 2008 being put on by Vac, zug4abby, sick_boy282 & sick_girl282.
Very nice tap list. friendly folks, a little dark and dingy & dive-bar-ish.
Since I live 70+ miles away, I wonít be going here often, but if I lived near it, I might given the tap list.

Hamiltonís Tavern. Visited on 1/1/11.
My flight was delayed so I went to find Hamiltonís. I would have never found it with out my GPS. Had BA Sea Monster, Victory at Sea and Oaked Yeti on tap. Nice selection of mostly Cali beers on tap. Place was crowded but was still able to get a seat at the bar. Hundreds of tap handles hanging from the ceiling. Tenders were good, no nonsense bar here. Mostly locals. There was a shuffleboard and pool table and some good bar music. Tap list was constantly changing, even in the hour I was there it was updated twice. Good place to visit when in South Park. They also had Anchor XMas verticals from 1999 to 2010 available.

English pub style bar with countless tap handles hanging from the ceiling. Numerous great taps with friendly, knowledgeable workers. A solid beer bar in a great beer city.

Hard to find and no one in the nearby gas stations knew about the place. Confy, big plasma tvs, free pool and foosball. Not a place id take the wife but a nice hangout to chat with a wide variety of regulars. No food there but you can bring in a cheestake sandwich from next door which is excellent. Greatest tap selection in San Diego after Oíbriens and tons of bottled ales. Great classic and lively rock music. Great service but lacking FOOD! On the top 5 list!!!

EXCELLENT beer bar in San Diego. A top-notch establishment with the right vibe: young, casual, friendly, and good service with a very good beer selection that includes many from local small breweries. The kind of place that you can spend hours in.

This one, for me at least, is hard to evaluate. Iíve only beer here probably 6 or so times...and so, I donít know the owners and the locals, and the bartenders, and all that stupid fucking crap...so...I guess im unbiased.
For one, its usually fucking crowded as hell, which is cool...to a point, but the space between the bar and the island wall behind it and the tables, etc. along the island wall..does NOT leave enough room to ever walk through.
Beers selection...usually pretty decent, though i dont believe my mind was ever blown away by the selection...it certainly rivals anywhere in San Diego Though I could argue Obriens and Toronado have a better selection most of the time.
Couple pool tables and that long shuffle board game thing...yeah, thatís all good.
I think the real thing that bothers me is that itís in South Park and I fuckin HATE south park and I Hate south park locals and their dirty poor ass hippy ways...too many locals all over that shit with their indie rock bullshit...
Other than that, nice place.

Pretty good beer selection in here, not the best Iíve seen, but they had some good brews on that I donít think Iíve seen since. Service was perfectly reasonable, although I did get there on openng and there werenít that many others in there. Seemed like a bit of a ílocalsí place and itís a bit out of the way in an area with not a lot else but houses. Worth a visit, though.

This bar was OK with a decent selection of brews even for SD but the crowd that was there made me think of the word seedy. The sandwich which I brought in from next door was good though.
