This brewery is growing at just a ridiculous rate, but they’re doing some great stuff. A really massive facility, nice outdoor seating, and plenty of space inside. Really friendly staff, plenty of beers on tap, and good prices. A little bit out in the middle of nowhere for me to visit with any real frequency, but I stop by when I can.

Way out in the middle of nowhere, literally in an old aircraft hangar at the still active private Redlands airport. Parking is free for all in the grass and anywhere you can see. No towing. Inside was a madhouse- big local cult following with a mad crowded bar. There is NO FOOD served despite the place rating here since someone accidentally did not put N/A for food in their rating. However, you CAN BRING YOUR OWN FOOD and sit outside on the patio or just chill outside with the beers. Beers on tap are house beers only with tasting flights available. Beer styles are American and German with high hop rates. Lots of fruitier, light beers as well to appeal to a good mix of clientele. Atmosphere is crowded, loud, lively, music blasting, and you drink inside the brewery with fermentation vessels abounding. Really fun to stop by. They update their website frequently so you know what will be on tap and what to get growler fills of.

Finally got out here. Quite a drive, but appears to be worth it. For me, its really out of the way. Easy parking once there, great prices, and their beer is pretty killer on tap at the brewery. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A very worthy stop, although I wish it was closer!

Wow, a hidden jem out in the IE. a very odd location, along a small regional airport. Kind of on the end of a street-one way in/out. was worried that cops would just stake this place out and hit people driving out of here drunk. Well, turns out the cops dont even bother people here (according to some people i met while at the brewery). Place is awesome-small old hangar with a tap order bar (with lovely looking waitresses) and outside is a long stretch of picnic tables. very friendly people here and prices were very reasonable. I must stop here again. Beer was very solid, some of the best i had on my CA trip. A MUST stop in the LA basin for sure!

Great place. 9+ beers on tap, cheap ass sampler, and beautiful view. Friendly locals drinking on the patio to boot!

Visited maybe a dozen times since they’ve opened including anniversary parties, barrel roll releases, and tastings at hophead22’s house. Most recently last Saturday for the rerelease of Pugachev’s Cobra.

This place has grown very fast. My first trip was on the first anniversary and at that point they already had 100 bbl fermenters in use and they were talking about celebrating their 300th account. At their second anniversary I saw multiple 160 bbl fermenters. This weekend I saw a whole new addition to the building.

Service is usually pretty good. They are all friendly and do a good job of moving the line which is always massive during releases and events. They also have a good amount of house beers on tap. Not sure if they still do it but they used to do a number of experimental cask variations as well.

Draft prices are reasonable and samples are $1. Never bought a growler or a shirt so I cant comment on those prices though they do use those fancy German growlers so I can only imagine that they cost a pretty penny. Doesnt affect me though as I refuse to buy growlers so long as I have to buy a different growler for every brewery.

No food served on premise though there are food trucks outside sometimes.

Nice place, friendly people, good beer, if I’m back in the Redlands area, I’d stop here. It’s cool, as others noted, that to get to Hangar 24, you drive through some neighborhoods, some orange groves, then into pretty much no where. In case you’re headed there, eat first. there was no where close by to eat.

Solid brewery with nice patio views of the mountains to the north and sunsets (to the west obviously). Solid beers; well above average. Cask Fridays are fun with a different one off brew each week. They finally stopped playing Queen, Elton John, Steve Miller, et al., and started playing 90s music. Good job, guys. I’m giving you a perfect score for ambiance just for that change! It can get a bit crowded with long lines, but mostly a lively atmosphere with a few beer nerds here and there. So follow that yellow brick road or fly like an eagle or if you want, ride your bicycle! to Hangar 24.

Had their beers before but the location turned out to be a real surpise. It’s just a brewery with a tasting room set in an industrial estate, actually next to the airfield (hence the name). But what’s most surprising is how vibrant this place is and what a set up they have. There were 7 regular taps, a nitro and a cask and a tasting counter so busy it was staffed by 3. Outside was crowded with about 20 or 30 people sitting at one long table with nothing else for atmosphere than the socal sunshine. Brewers mingle with the public and there’s heavy activity of beer on palletss and customers filling growlers. Most breweries are boring places but for a place with nothing going on but the beer this was pretty lively. I’m sure full brewpub expansion is on the way.
