Visited a couple of times, placed very close to the harbour, easy to park nearby. Large, cozy brewpub. Traditionel german food and beer. Normally they have the regular beer and one seasonal on tap. It is possible to buy growlers to take away. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, got the impression that a lot of locals come around, and off course tourists as well..

25.01.2013. Nice place with a traditional brewpub style. Quite crowden with lots of young people. The waitor did not speak english, so it was quite difficult to have a chat about beer. But, she was nice and helpful and finally served me two of the beers they had on tap. Nice beers, and the food was even better! The day after I meet a waiter that spoke english and I got to taste the new Winterbock. Nice place!

Nice location with a overview of the harbour. 3 taps, 2 regulars and 1 rotating with a winterbock at my visit, wich all where decent. Wellmade classic german pub food. Fast and efficient service, good value for money.

A modern brewpub with a restaurant that can accommodate more than a hundred guests. At no point is one in doubt that it is a brewpub, as some of the production lines remain clearly visible to the guest. Neat and clean, though perhaps a trifle unbalanced with regard to the furniture. Massive Greman benches contrast somehpw with an English-style bar and the metal casks in which the beer matures. The selection of beers is ve small, counting three in total, but it is definitely worth exploring. The food is good, old decent German/Mitteleuropäisch, and not very expensove for a restaurant overlooking the charming promenade. The staff are friendly but a little busy, even on off-season weekday evenings. A good place to go to when in Flensburg.

You don’t come to Hansens solely for the beer, but for a good meal accompanied by beer. A busy place means clean taps all the time, and that’s definitely a plus. Beer is average or just above average, but nice scenery and spacious patio.

Big yet cozy room with a patio and a view over the harbour. The service was busy and not terribly polite. The selection consisted of only the two regulars of which I found the schwarzbier very enjoyable. The food is traditional and solid like so many other places in Germany. Prices were fair.

The Hansens Brauerei is situated down by the harbor in Flensburg. It has a sort of cozy ambiance. Unfortunately they have a limited selection of their standard beers with a couple of seasonal beers on tap. The beers I had were quite good. They have a decent menu selection of local German pub fare to choose from and the servings were more that ample. Service was friendly and fairly prompt. Nice place to relax and enjoy a good local beer. If you are ever in the Flensburg area check it out. Recommended.
