what a find!! Was on one fo many trips and was looking for something other than Budweiser (YUCK) and the hotel suggested happy Harry’s! What a nice selection of everything. Beer, wine, spirits. I found out it’s one of the top rated liquor stores in the country. Lot’s and lots of Microbrews and a more than ample selection of Belgians.

Wow, this place is cool. Yeah, on the outside it looks like a barn, and the inside is just a liquor store. But there is a HUGE selection of alcoholic products. The staff was prompt and very helpful.

This was the first place I went to when I arrived in the Northern MN ND area. It’s a big farm looking building with lots of wine and spirits and in the back is the beer section. It’s not a bad selection. They are more then willing to special order things for you if you ask. The mixer six pack is decent and so is the single bottle section.

I really enjoy beer shopping here. Beer selection changes, prices are fair, and they get some really decent stuff too. Very friendly staff, ready to answer questions.

Looks like if I want to get good beer in North Dakota, I have to drive to Fargo. I had low expectations until I saw the massive building from the road... huge layout is quite well stocked. Prices were fair, mixed sixer at $10-11 is not bad. Not a ton of singles to mix, and not a whole lot of bombers/750’s either. However, the wall of coolers and overall six-pack selection is impressive. This is by far the best location to buy craft beer in ND (haven’t been to the other HH stores yet). A must stop if you are in the area.

Shaped like a barn and claims to be a top 10 liquor store in the nation. Inside, I was met with a little disappointment. Singles selection wasn’t great, and overall selection wasn’t amazing. That having been said, for the area, it is undoubtedly very good. Also, they do have an area that is devoted to North Dakota wine/mead/cider. Service was non-existent beyond the register, but that isn’t a big deal for me. Prices were pretty good. Seems like a solid place for Fargo, but not somewhere you should go out of your way for to seek out gems.

Biggest selection of craft beer and imports in Fargo. Nearly every beer earns a spot in the enormous wall of coolers, only a small selection has to sit on the shelf.

Great place the make your own 6-pack. An impressive selection of Belgium abbey-style ales--in fact, there’s just a lot of ales period. Fun sales events throughout the year, including the popular penny wine sale (get there early if you want a full selection). Free bag of ice with purchase.

Place looks like a barn from the outside. Inside it looks like a typical liquor superstore. Lots of wine taking the main stage. Beers are to the back, mostly in coolers. I’d like to see the micros and imports in coolers together instead of at opposite ends of the store, but that’s getting picky I suppose. Selection was better than I had hoped, actually it might have been better than anything in Nebraska. Bell’s regulars and some specials, Big sky, Rogue 22s, Goose Island, anchor(no OSA though??), sierra, ect...imports were solid on the MdV(ayinger and trappists), B. United(Nora, De Dolle) & V&D(I scored a case of Dupont’s Avec!). Case discount on Belgian beers of 12%, not sure if it applies to other beers or not. Staff was helpful as they were able to retrieve me the case of Avec I requested, then proceeded to ask me "is this good? I’ve only had Blue Moon for Belgian beer" so maybe not so knowledgable, at least this guy, but all I require is the ability to_find_the beer in the back. The place to go for package stores in Fargo.

Had to get a North Dakota place out here... Two stores in Fargo and two in Grand Forks. I'm only familiar with the Fargo store on 45th. Huge store with emphasis on wines, but a decent selection of well-stored beers, too. Also a large cigar selection.
