They do a good job of having special yet public events here. Staff is prompt in service and the iPad checkout system is quite the novelty. Strange roped traffic flow for ordering in main area. Even in the middle of winter, the place is musty, humid and somehow hot. Everyone was sweating. Good place for the after work happy hour.

Finally made it here. Clean and nice tasting room and brewery. We had a group of a 100 or so and they kept our glasses full and seemed to love what they do. Just a few, but tasty, brews on tap, including some I hadn’t seen out and about. The prices were better than average. This has kind of become a place-to-be in Richmond- yay! I will probably go back to check out their taco truck night sometime.

Went for gingerbread stout release party. nice atmosphere, nice sized tasting area. Most importantly, the two beers I sampled were well made. Good stop in the area.

Swung by here for the release party for Gingerbread Stout. The event had a really nice crowd, solid live music, good prices, and some other interesting beers (in addition to the Gingerbread, which was really good). I’ve heard good things about their beers from a few other Richmonders, and was looking forward to trying their beer. I was not disappointed. I’ll have to go back for a non-event visit so I can sample a few more of their offerings, but from what I can tell, this is an excellent addition to the Richmond craft scene.

Been coming here since right around the time they opened. Beer is great, employees are great, it’s just gotten super popular which leads to super crowds and long lines. But it’s always worth it! Small front tasting room that leads to the brewery floor, basically open warehouse. If you just stop in at regular tasting hours it’s nice and calm, but go for any kind of event and it’s packed, loud, and hot. They only have their own beers on tap, but typically a good variety and some brewery-only variations on their normal fare. The beer is world-class though. I hope they can expand soon, add more seating, etc.

Had to park down the street to get to this one, was pretty darn packed when I got there - a good thing. People are appreciating this place. There were three beer stations - main tasting room, one right off the side and one on the other side of the bar. Nice setup, nice beer, nice live music.

A large warehouse brewery with lots of room for expansion, plus a tasing bar up front. All beers are free, which of course is very nice. The Singel was available in its natural state, or pulled through a Randell with pineapple, citra hops and a touch of ginger. A new DIPA was also available plain or with peppercorn. They have a 20 gallon homebrew system, and occasionally offer experimental beers from that in addition to their regular range. Very friendly staff. Definitely the highlight of my beer tour of Richmond.

This place is EASILY the best brewery in Richmond, probably all of VA, and will probably fall inline to be one of the top 10 breweries on the east coast if they can continue to put out the amazing quality beer that they have debuted with this past year. The facility has lots fo room for expansion, and the owners are all stand up dudes. While this brewery isn’t a "must tour" brewery, their beers are a "MUST SEEK OUT AT ALL COSTS" if you are passing through the RVA.

This is the brewery so food is not served. The owners Patrick and Eric are very accessable. This is great place to stop by after work and taste their beers. They will fill growlers and have tours. The porter will be available soon. They appear to be sold out for their capacity at this time. Support your local brewer. Since July 2012 the brewery is offering food trucks in their parking lot on Thursday. Great fun with good food options. The seafood taco and Pops were excellent.
