This place rocks. They make a point to get beers that no one else has on tap in the area. Went here for a Stone Vertical Epic dinner. I cant wait for their next one. Only problem with Harris is that they get carried away with their prices. $12 for a 12oz Frangelic Mountain Brown?!?!

Ambiance is dark, a bit hipsterish inside, Nice but a bit cramped. Nice ambience outside too. Service is pretty solid, always willing to refill beer and bacon. Selection is above avarage most nights, amazing during pittsburgh beer week with black note on tap. Food = Free bacon night, what more can I ask for. Decent value as prices are a little high but worth it for the quality of the beers.

Went on bacon night and had a few beers that i enjoy. A Not Stock pepper beer goes great with the bacon. Dark ambiance but good service and great food with a good bottle list.

Selection was decent, not huge but had some good beers on tap. Service was lacking, bartenders were rude and acted like they were doing me a favor by serving me. Not sure if I’d return, especially since there’s a place I enjoy more right across the street.

Pretty big 3 story east end obtrusive pittsburgh house converted into a bar and restaurant. I came here since Bites and Brews, the place across the street was closed. Rather difficult parking tho i found a vacant parking spot off the main drag right in front of the place once I went around the block a couple of times. Be prepared to put money in a meter. When I walk in there is new age dated emo musc playing in the background. Very friendly and even tho there are not a bunch of taps, I found two brews that I had not sampled on tap before Ace perry and Bluepoint Fest. Nice bottle selection! Boy they had some rare expensive beers ther including that 350$ Sam Adams. I also saw Rouge juniper and a couple of other unqiue ciders too! Pleasantly surprized! Seeking a unique beer? You probably will not be dissapointed, just make sure to bring your wallet. Very glad I stopped there, if I would have not had an appointment, I would have spent about 50 bucks and a couple of hours there easy. Good experience.

I love the Harris Grill! I am a regular and there is always something good on tap. Food is served until 1am and is great pub food. Staff is friendly and the crowd is great! Happy one year anniversary!

The Summer House has returned under new ownership. Harris Grill just celebrated it’s 1 year anniversary in December. Check it out.
