Lovely comfortable pub no doubt about it. It does get very busy during workday lunch and happy hour. The upstairs bar makes it much easier to order a beer though. At least six Rocks beers on tap and handpull plus guest taps. I noticed stuff from Modus Operandi, Murrayís, Moon Dog and Newstead on my recent visits. Free Wifi. A nice place to sink a few brews.

Another in our craft beer tour of Asia. I know, it started in our back yard. Cool pub. Selection was good for local stuff but not much international stuff that was interesting.

Lovely pub interior is one of the classiest in Sydney. Good guest taps (Nail Stout) and solid but uninspiring house brews. Re-visit Nov 2015, I think it is one of my favorite places in Sydney, (my new favorite being Welcome Hotel!). Love the vibe, reminds me of an English pub.

Character pub in the Rocks. House tap for Rocks Brewing. Good vibe in there, relaxed service was appreciated, in particular getting something past last orders, given that last orders were really, really early. Iíve been a couple times and would continue to make it a stop when in Sydney.

Visited both Oct -12 and Oct -15 for a few times. Both the food and the drinks is worth trying. Nice selection of beer, also the food is of a very good quality. Staff is nice and friendly.

Revisited Saturday October 10, 2015. Fairly late, not crowded, managed to get a paddle served. Nice friendly service once more. Have a feeling Iíll go back tonight! No longer a limit to pay by the card, awesome!
Also a short visit Oct 11 for two midi of beer (or half pint), one was $8 and one was $8.50.

Visited twice, first visit was July 12, 2013.
12 beers available, 6 of them from Rocks, 6 from various Oz craft breweries.
4 beer tasting paddle available, but they donít do them Friday nights when it gets busy, I was there early enough this Friday to get one though.
Annoying $30 minimum to pay with card, so bring cash unless youíre getting a lot.
No WiFi.
Nice fast service, bar staff seem rather knowledgeable about the beers.

Also visited July 16, 2013.
Stopped by for two more tasting paddles.
Didnít eat either of the times, but the $30 min on card annoyed me both times.
Second time a huge group of people in sombreros and fake moustaches walked in for a beer, then left again, weird.
A few TV sets showing footie.
Nice place, Iíd go back again if in Sydney.

Nice comfortable old British stylempub. Nice that they offer sampler paddles. Kitchen closed early so I missed out on the food. Beers were tasty.

Very cool and comfortable looking joint with lots of space, reminds me of an English place, but one Iíd rather visit a few more times. Friendly staff, not overly knowledgeable except about their brews, Rocks brewing. 12 beers on tap, 6 Rock and 6 other Australians. The Rocks beers, the Butcher in particular were great, the others not so much. The offer 4 paddles on any beers, so you can tick 12 real fast. The bottle list was weak, mostly American crap and no internet. Those being my 2 complaints Iíd come back.

Harts Pub is a place I like to visit time and time again, as I know that every time I go, even if only a week apart, there will always be at least one if not multiple new Australian beers on tap and 9 times out of 10 I have never tasted them before. Since I started moving away from my younger days of VB and Extra Dry and started to experience what REAL beer tastes like, I have strived to find new and exciting beers. Harts Pub NEVER disappoints. I first discovered this place during the Beer Festival at The Australian a few years ago, when a gentleman I was chatting to there was talking about opening a pub down the road. Surely enough, his dream became a reality and I made my first visit shortly after it opened. Ever since it fast became my favourite pub in Sydney. Itís not ONLY about the beer though, although that is surely a main contributing factor. I have never had a meal there I havenít enjoyed. It isnít 5 star dining, nor should a pub be. The chef is American and the menu is notably inspired from his homeland. I like to eat healthy, but who can resist some taboo food from the states. Great location too, tucked away in the back of The Rocks, every time I go it is never overcrowded but can get quite busy. Its like a little known secret that I am happy to be a part of.

Although their own beers are pretty average (still drinkable), they have a few rotating taps for other Australian breweries. So usually there are some excellent beers to down regularly. Really like the atmosphere here.
