Been here 5 or 6 times in almost as many years. Everything keeps changing including beer recipes and now the name... they now (as at 8th August 2012!) call themselves MEIERS LOBENSLUST. Beer quality varies each visit from excellent to below average. Food a bit arty farty, small portions and expensive. Annoyingly my netbook picked up no less than 3 wi-fi signals with names of this establishment but they would not give me a password or code to get online!! That irritated me even more and I get the impression it’s owned by local giant Gilde as their name was subtly visible here and there (I think their filtered pils is now on tap too!). The brew equipment seems redundant, just for show, which makes me think all done at Gilde??

Modern brewpub. Quite large. Good background music - 60s&70s. Very good food. Limited beer selection.

brewpub/restaurant with 3 taps plus special brews in bottles (1303 series). Large place with 2 floors, food was nice. I had the dunkle (nice) and a pils (ok).

A very modernly decorated place with hop colors on the walls - red and white, with a stone floor and dark wood tables. The service was swift even at lunch hour - where I had a 6 EUR chili. 3 standard beers plus 1 seasonal - some available for take-away.

Vistit june 24th 2011. Nice, quite modern interior with barrels inside the resturant that show they make their own beers. Had a rumpsteak that was very nice! Have a pilsner, dunkel, weissen and a saison(sommerbier), the pilsner was very good. PS: Check the glassfloor at the enterece, pretty cool!

Visited December 27, 2010. Easy to get to by U-bahn. Very modern interior. Nice food, at reasonable prices. very nice and service minded staff. The weizen was OK, the dunkel very nice and the pils to die for. I can very well see myself going back.
Went back on DEc 29, 2010. Had moer of the pilsner and had a nice sit down meal. Very nice place, good food, great beer. Had nice service both times. I can very much recommend it.

Superb range of beers and good food in convivial atmosphere. More suited to my tender ears than another brewpub in Hannover. The dark beer really was something special
