A nice view from the terrace to the river to have some Fuller’s beers (20.6.2009).

The location is the winner for this place, right on the banks of the River Thames with a nice and big terrace. Has a typical Fuller’s managed feel inside and on a hot day when the terrace is busy there is a long queue to the under staffed bar. Typical selection on offer, but nothing out of the ordinary and I had a sense they know most punters won’t be in the area for long. I wish there was an off-license near by so you could buy a bottle of beer and sit by the University Park instead of queuing up feeling like a battery chicken on their packed terrace.

Big patio by the Thames. Bar is also spacious. It’s more for eating than plain drinking. 6 casks. Children friendly. Food was OK. Quite expensive (pint of Blue Moon £4.50).

Fullers Pub down by the river in Oxford. Went there on a busy Saturday afternoon. Packed full of tourists and young families. They do food but we did not stay for any. The ESB made up for a disappointing experience.
