Nice selection, especially hard to find beers. Prices OK considering the choice. They also have big selection of whiskey

Incredible selections of Belgians, maybe the best in the Bay Area. Good amount of American Crafts as well.

great place. its tiny and very comfortable as you can talk to the clerk from anywhere in the tiny store. dave and the rest of the staff are very knowledgable, friendly and funny. daves got a great sense of humor and is very down to earth. parking is generally pretty good in this neighborhood, so you usually donít have to carry boxes too far. they have a good selection of craft gelato, chocolate and cheese. thier selection is pretty much unrivaled. they have a lot of stuff in a small space, and all of its damn good, literally no cheap beer in sight. the selection changes regularly as dave really has his finger on the pulse of the craft brew community and keeps many unique and limited brews in stock at all times. i found HOTD adam and doggie claws, port 3rd anniversary, and many too rare to mention here. the prices are ok on some, but a lil pricey on most. not too bad, overall its still way more than worth it for the selection that you will find at this bottle shop. rrís were priced the same as the brewery, cetain ales were actually quite good deals if you knew what you were looking at.

Oct 2012. Visited by accident. Classic US high-end beers with some of the best Danish and Belgian beers. One of the best bottle selections in SF, but in my opinion not as good as Coit Liquors. Healthy spirits indeed.

Lets just say first that Dave is the Man..This is a badass place with some killer beer selections at very good prices..I have been here many times and it is now my go to stop in San Francisco for beer and some of the best hummus I have had..The only complaint I have about this place is they wouldnít let me use the bathroom when I was on the verge on peeing my pants

Well the ambiance here kind of sucks, which can be expected since itís mostly just a corner store but other than that this place fuckiní rocks. The service was great. Two guys talked to me the whole time I was in the store, even though they had other customers coming and going and there was only one more guy working. Theyíve also got the best selection I saw anywhere in SF, hands down. Some stuff with a little age on it and everything. The prices were a notch higher than I saw elsewhere but still not obscene by any means.

Extremely small shop, but with such awesome bottles to purchase. Exactly what I need as a beer hobbyist. If they only served beer as well. Itís closer to where I live so Iíve got that for me as well. Great service and recommendations for me. Also, I want to do the club they offer -- limited releases, monthly beers, etc. With this and City Beer, Iím considering San Francisco (itís a small city!) a great geographical location to shop for good beer!

Great little bottle shop in what seems to be a pretty quiet SF neighborhood. Parking was easy. Not very big space, but a really awesome selection of bottles makes up for it--quality is packed into every available square inch. Really nice staff behind the register, willing to talk beer and offer local suggestions to out-of-towners like me. Prices seemed average--maybe a little above. Most of the beers I looked at were a couple of dollars cheaper at City Beer (which I visited the next day), but you get 10% if you buy six or more, so it was pretty much a wash. Bonus for being able to mix & match your own six packs. Definitely worth seeking out!

A couple friends and I went well out of our way (the heart of San Francisco on a Santa Cruz-to-Berkeley trip) to find Healthy Spirits. Upon entering I was awestruck, as the tiny corner cafe boasted an entire wall of refrigerators, each stocked to the brim with high-rated and hard-to-find beer. 4 Russian Rivers, St. Bernardus Abt 12 Special Edition, a bunch of trappists, and dozens of other Belgians.
I found the prices fair enough considering the rarity of the beers I bought (made a healthy dent in the Russian River section), but this place is very generous with discounts. I got 5% off for mentioning BA and 5% off for buying 6 or more beers.
I’ll surely be back again.
