It’s a Heartland Brewery, enough said. I don’t come here for awesome brews, or service. The beer selection doesn’t change often enough, and they are never really that good! The food is average/ above average, price is not too overboard.

Went to the Union Square location on a Saturday afternoon and I was very impressed. Prices were a little high, even for NYC, but a great atmosphere, especially for hanging out or watching sports. The 6 or 8 beer sampler was really a great way to get the most variety for your buck and the food was OK. Location is also a plus, right on the park. I would go again even though the beer was pretty average.

Union Square location. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and helpful. I only had the Maibock but was quite pleased with it. It had good citrus and honey which is good for a Maibock. Obviously this was an off hour and it is better to go during those times. Anyway, I look forward to trying a sampler there in the near future.

I go to the one on 43rd or 44th right off Times Square. Nice place, but the beers aren’t that great although they’re generally fresh. Great food.

Empire State Building Location. Nice looking place. We sat at the basement bar. Was pretty quiet when we went. Had the full taster. Was about $6-$7 more than I paid for 8 tasters line ups at two other locations that week. Waiter could have been better, especially since we were his only table. Beers were not bad but nothing outstanding or high grav.

Cinq succursales à New York.

Nice menu and decent selection of beer. Had 8 beer sampler which included 2 seasonals. The oatmeal stout was excellent. Also enjoyed the bock wheat. Food was good. Had a really good burger cooked the way I ordered it! Appetizers were good also but portions were on the small size. Try the Buffalo chicken spring rolls but get 2 orders b/c they’ll disappear in a flash. Service was great and the waiter went out of his way to explain the beers to a couple of the novices at our table. Overall a decent place at a decent price. I’d definitely go back.
