Empire State Building Location. Nice looking place. We sat at the basement bar. Was pretty quiet when we went. Had the full taster. Was about $6-$7 more than I paid for 8 tasters line ups at two other locations that week. Waiter could have been better, especially since we were his only table. Beers were not bad but nothing outstanding or high grav.

Cinq succursales à New York. J’ai visité la succursale de Union Square après avoir déjà visité celle de Times Square l’an dernier. Très bel endroit avec une ambiance décontractée. La clientèle est jeune, branchée, mais sans être m’as-tu-vu. J’ai pris la palette de dégustation Seasonal Voyage qui comprend 5 bières régulières et 3 bières saisonnières, le tout pour 12 $. Vraiment pas cher... Sans être incontournables, la plupart des bières étaient assez bonnes, quoique certaines laissaient quelque peu à désirer. Les serveuses connaissent assez bien leurs produits mais elles sont loin de pouvoir parler de leurs bières. Un endroit tout de même intéressant et bien situé.

Nice menu and decent selection of beer. Had 8 beer sampler which included 2 seasonals. The oatmeal stout was excellent. Also enjoyed the bock wheat. Food was good. Had a really good burger cooked the way I ordered it! Appetizers were good also but portions were on the small size. Try the Buffalo chicken spring rolls but get 2 orders b/c they’ll disappear in a flash. Service was great and the waiter went out of his way to explain the beers to a couple of the novices at our table. Overall a decent place at a decent price. I’d definitely go back.
