Went here for dinner before a show. Made reservations ahead of time so we did not have to wait. Large open room with breweriania on the walls. Service was slow and kept taken food to wrong tables. Beer selection was a wide range of styles. I had a flight od their stuff always on. Beer was ok, the stout and red lager were the best. The light lager was un drinkable and eberything else was bland.
Food was mostly steaks and burgers. My and my wife both got steaks. Mine was over cooked and just generally disappointing.
As far as cost, it was about average for Nyc, but with the other dings on food and quality, it is over expensive. Will not return.
My alma matter Bentley Univ has annual beer pairing dinner at this location. Foods decent and the beer is ok. but you get to eat and drink as much as you want on this night so thats pretty fun. It kinda touristy place right outside times square.
Stopped by on my way through the city. Not much of an atmosphere but that doesnt bother me. Friendly staff. Got talking to the bar guy and he was nice enough to give me a token glass for their imperial stout as I was from another country. That was pretty cool. The beers were pleasant as well. I enjoyed my stop and enjoyed being pissed in a foreign city afterwards
L-shaped bar up front to the left and seating to eat back to the right. Saturday night and there was not a seat at the bar. My wife needed to sit down waited about 10 minutes and couldnít get a seat, so we left. Ambiance was slightly above average.
COnveneinet location. Nothing special on tap in the seasonal department, one does not go out of their way for th beer here. Did have something brewed with thyme as a seasonal that had a minimum of my interest, outside of their regular so-so beers all served a bit overcarbonated.

Visited for lunch on a Tuesday. The bar is upfront, restaurant seating behind in the back. I ate at the bar, and the service was efficient and quick. In general, the food and beer menu were straight forward everyday brewpub - akin to a Rock Bottom. The quality was fine, I had the IPA and a reuben. Neither were memorable, but did the trick. Worth hitting, may not be worth going out of the way if you have limited time.
64 = ★★ (Just ok)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Stopped by while waitng for a bus in NYC. Near time square. I knew this was going to be shitty. The only good thing this place had was an option for samples. Place looks like any ordinary bar and grill, kinda on the clean side. Ambiance is an older crowed not drinking brews but instead mix drinks. Service sucked balls, the bartender was a jerk! The selection of 8 taps sucked, this is geared towards the non beer glover and more towards the BMC people. This is a place to avoid. They are lucky they have a good location where tourist can get suckered into going.
Stopped in here a little after they opened on a Thursday morning. Didnít get anything to eat, but tried the two seasonals they had on tap which I hadnít had before. Both were way too sweet wheat beers with additives. Nothing great. My server at least was pretty good, in part I guess because it was empty, but she was a delight to talk to, and told me to try the place next door (HB Burgers, another Heartland place that I guess technically has the same address, but is in fact a different place with a different tap list (really just a couple more seasonals)) as well. Prices are the same unreasonable amount at all of the Heartlands it seems, $13 for a sampler of their 6 mediocre regular beers, add $2 more to try the seasonals too. $5 half pints. Ugh. I guess an ok stop if you need to tick their beers, but looking at the place from the outside it goes Chophouse, HB Burgers, BXL cafe all in a row. Go to BXL instead. Better beers there.

Solid craft brew stop in Times Square. Your typical micro brewpub selection wise. Clean and upscale. You will pay for that.
