I Like it. Much better since the liquor sales ceased. Then the move. Hops, malt, yeast, and a little attitude to spice things up. Hmm..I like it. Everything not as you like it? Relax, have a beer. Itís a homebrew store, theyíre not here to stroke your ego. Honey in beer? Read a book. Make a Mead. Theyíve taken good care of me over the years. Every day may not be good, but theyíre here. Where are the others? Oh, you donít remember there were others. Well lets just say there is a reason I go to Hearts. Wouldnít it be nice if we could all just get along? Guess what! This is life, some days are bad. Even for Hearts. If theyíre selling on the internet maybe thatís where theyíre being treated well. Iím guessing they have bills to pay. They might even want to have a day off. Iím thinking that if the profit was in walk-ins, they would be open seven days a week to harvest that profit. My guess is that we are lucky we can walk-in and not pay to have it shipped across town. Itís as if they might be doing me a favor by leaving the doors open while I shop, allowing them to run their profitable business while Iím in the store. Of course Iím probably wrong. Iím sure the big bucks are in the people like me who take an hour of their time and spend 5 bucks. I do like looking at the stuff. Thanks for keeping the doors open for guys like me. I still like to talk to ya. Even with a little attitude.

In November I tried to get this posted as a response to the posts here. Did not work... Here is the response as rating: -------------------- First, Although I was not there, I find it extremely difficult to believe that such words would ever be said in our store. That said, even if the conversations were not correctly recounted in his posting, obviously, the customers have left with these perceptions. This is a major concern. We have had several conversations about the postings. We agree that over recent years, with our mail order business growing, it has been increasingly difficult to be as amiable as we should be to the walk in customers. We owe a heart felt apology to anyone who has experienced our rudeness. We never intend to offend anyone. We took a step back and took a look at how we actually appear to the walk in brewer... It was not pretty. We agreed that we need to make efforts to be conscious of this, as well as be more friendly and helpful regardless of the workload. We are also addressed ways to increase our efficiency and make more time to achieve this. Although it may not have been evident to some recently, we still look at our local brewers as our valuable customers and good friends. Dave ______________

The Quality of Ingredients is actually very good. That being said, this place is like a bad joke for customer service. I have spent over 2500 there and These guys have actually yelled at me for coming in there. I am so glad that I finally moved and never have to be told "If the UPS Truck was here you WOULDN"T BE GETTING THIS ORDER" or THERES PLENTY OF BOOKS TO READ I CANíT REALLY ANSWER THAT ONE QUESTION - Seriously if someone opens another homebrewshop in Orlando they will go out of business in one day. Also They have gotten worse withsaying oh that hop variety is unavaliable anymore. Or yeast strain and then your whole recipe is ruined. Kind of like going to a stripclub and finding out your dancer is a bashful Nun.

Diitto, which is ashame, as this was where I first discovered what good beer was all about. Times have indeed changed. The selection, which at one time was awesome, is now non-existent. Seems as if the online sales of homebrew have caused a serious departure in attitude. Later guys.

Great place to find great ingrediants for your home brew. Other than that, the employees are extremely rude if you ask any questions. Kind of reminds me of the seinfeld episode of the the soup nazi. Beer nazi in this case. Not anything you cant buy from Knightly. I try to avoid this place.
