A quite nice place, with an ok selection, although I just went for the Hele and Tume this time. Friendly service and quite spacy. I will surely go back at some point checking out the rest of the selection and maybe the food as well, as it looked good when other people had some.
Ok ambiance. I have had some unpleasant experience with service (maybe because I’m local?!). Selection is ok for tourists, but pales compared to Koht and Põrgu (both are just short walking distance from Hell Hunt). Value is ok for old town. Overall: ok I guess.
Much improved premier beer bar, now with 20+ beers from the top six local brewers, including Põhjala, Öllenaut Tanker, Pühaste, Lehe & Vormssi, on a list that now tops 130 in all. Food is pubby and fairly basic. Seating is now a bit more formal and even comfortable. In the top three and a must-visit in Tallinn.
I’ve visited this place first time 15 years ago. It hasn’t changed much. This time we had two beers and pig tongue at the patio. They had 4 different Hell Hunt brews available: Ale, Nisu, Hele and Tume. Decent service. No list of Estonian microbrews available... only inside.
