Located in a "shopping" center, to say this place isnít much to look at is an understatement. Itís fairly small on the inside but unlike most liquor stores beer is clearly the thing here. It must take up half the floor space. They have a number of coolers for the BMC and some craft sixers as well. They have a fairly sizable pick six as well as a nice Belgian section. The service was friendly as well. But compared to what Iíve just seen at Blue Max and Zippís this place is third best. They do have a few goodies I havenít seen at other places but I donít think this is Minnesptaís #1 place.

Tremendous store - stopped in on Dec. 8, 2011 for the Beer Geek Christmas party. Tons and tons of beers, and a lot of harder to find beers. Lots of 12 oz beers available in singles, which is always nice. Smaller shop, but terrific selection. Good glassware available as well.

A little out of the way, but well worth the trek. Ed is the man. Spent about 30 minutes talking with him and he certainly hooked it up. The regional selections and imports are impressive. This place had everything on my shopping list, so there was no need to stop anywhere else. A must visit when in the area.

My favorite bottle shop in the twin cities was recommended to me by Skyview. Pretty much everything is available as a single at reasonable prices and thereís a huge selection of bombers and 750ml bottles along the back wall. I was able to load up my trunk with plenty of stuff I canít find in Wisconsin. A nice selection of glassware is hanging above the singles. Service was excellent!

Interesting liquor store. They are clearly new and making the best out of what they have to work with, which from the outside is a worn out building. Inside is clean and well organized, if small. More interesting is the basement where tastings for beer, wine, and liquor are held, and this area is more like a lounge than a liquor store. Service was excellent. Anyone who shops in the Twin Cities knows Joe, but Ed, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and clearly values your business. The selection is not quite as big as Cellars Roseville 1 or Blue Max, but this is not a problem because what isnít there is mostly stuff you wouldnít want anyway. I saw quite a few beers I have seen no where else in the Twin Cities, so where they might not match Cellars for quantity, they are more like Blue Max in that you are likely to find something you have never seen before. I will admit Iím not crazy about the location, but that wonít keep me from coming back.

Stopped in for Beer Geek Christmas 12/8/11 and wow!!!! This place rocks and Ed is the man. Amazing selection of beer and the prices were great as well, noticeably lower than Blue Max. One of the top beer stores in town, just a tad on the small side.

Small place that packs a big punch. Singles are cramped in a tiny section, but for an out-of-towner, this place really delivers. Great to see that thereís a discount, I believe 10% for mixing a six pack of beer. Seems like they get quite a gew rarities, but thatís just mere speculation. Had a mixer of Surly for me, which I didnít see anywhere else. When my girlfriend and I pulled up to the establishment, as itís pictured, I wasnít expecting much, but they did surprise me. They had some older beers on hand, too, albeit, they were all mainly from 2011. Had a nice selection of European craft, but there was so much local stuff to be purchased, I didnít bother. Great store. Not prententious, and definitely, relatively good prices. Itís good to have family in this neck of the U.S. Friendly folks working the register. Just remember that itís a small space that packs a punch.

This place is outstanding, if you are in the Twin Cities and have a car then you have to go to it. Ambiance gets a 4, since the store isnít much to look at initially, but the sofa-filled tasting room gets a 5. Joe and Ed really know their stuff, are very friendly, and host out of this world store tastings (they gave away awesome glassware and beers such as Stone RIS, Mikkeller Black, Ten Fidy, La Folie, retired NG Unpluggeds, etc.) can I go above a 10 for service? I would say that selection of both domestic and foreign beers is now the best in the cities, with the exception of vintage beers, which Blue Max gets the edge on for now. Heritage will probably also be best at this within a couple of years though, as their cellar is already building. To give you an idea of what they had on their shelves: there was Cantillon 50ļN-4ļE, Peche Mortel, Montegioco Bran Reserva, and a number of other rarities that are available only at their store. With a committment to getting even better and creative ideas for t
