If youíre standing in front of this place, there are at least five places visible that are more worthwhile stops. I hear the beer is inconsistent, but it was just awful my visit. Highest score was sub-3, and one complete diacetyl bomb was sub-1. I went here for ticks, because I was in the area and had time to kill, but donít go here if you expect good beer. At least the bartender was helpful. Large, boring interior. Not a worthwhile stop.

Tired brewpub that serves up substandard beers. During my visit, there were roughly 8-10 house beers available that covered a range of old world styles. Pretty much everything felt muddled and under attenuated. Green apple off-flavors were also fairly commonplace. At least the prices were fine and service was decent. Overall, I wouldnít recommend this place. However, itís on the same block as Moto-i and Lynlake, so itís an easy spot to tick off if youíre on a crawl.

Visited with jackl and evanlarkin. Big central bar dominates, plus restaurant and bar tables, shuffleboard, brewhouse visible through glass as you enter. Very bro friendly. Flights with six ounce pours available. Beers were a bit muddled. Service friendly. Easy stop anyway, if you start at LynLake.

A smallish brewpub with a central bar surrounded by seating and a small patio beside the building. Service was a bit slow during a Sunday afternoon and wasnít particularly beer oriented. 8 beers on with samplers available. Food was decent and prices werenít too bad. Pretty run of the mill brewpub.

Just across the street from Muddy Waters and this was stop two on Uptown tour. Probably had the worst beer selection of the night, but service was easily the best. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. Different from BLB and MW, this place did not seem to be a hipster hangout. Heard this place was a Packer bar for the Cheese Heads out there.

Beer is hit or miss here but since the craft beer boom theyíve stepped up their game. I still love the sky pilot. Food is average fare but done well. Go during the day as it gets crazy at night.

Visited November 2011.

Visited late in the evening so most everything else was closed but it looked like an outdoor mall. The brewery had a sign outside advertising that they were showing Spinal Tap on 11/11/11 (missed it, damn).

I swear, every single beer I had was a lager, even the imperial stout. Really weird but kind of neat at the same time. I sat at the island in the middle of the restaurant and drank my flight but didnt talk to the service much. The guy didnt know much about the beer nor was he all that interested in talking. I think the most interesting part of our (lack of) conversation was the mention of a real sake brewer in Minneapolis somewhere.

Didnt eat much, just a pretzel.

I dont see much need to go back here besides for a quick flight for some new beers, though I gladly would have watched Spinal Tap there.

A restaurant with a brewery that had 6 of their own brews (one was out). Didn't order any food and beer was ok. Service was very laid back to be kind.

Located in the LynLake neighborhood of Minneapolis. Small selection of house brewed beer, the beer is very middle of the road. The menu is filled with bar food and the service is good.

I got brought the wrong beer here by the server who then argued with me that the pale ale in front of me was a stout... Cool seeing the fermentors with the code names for the future brews on the chalkboards.
