A great local. Good service, cheap and decent quality. Everyone is there to hang out and have fun. Beer is a bit above average. Stop in if you are passing through.

I was told this was, "the Selinís Grove of the west," so I knew right away I had to stop in on our way to El Paso. Very nice outdoor seating area is the first thing I noticed, the sun was just about down so we decided to head inside and get a table there while we could and after getting one of the last tables available we got down to the business at hand. Atmosphere was solid, tons of people all over the place enjoying themselves while having a few beers on a Friday night. Quality was pretty good, I loved the glasses my sampler came in as they were like skinny mugs. The space itself was a little...eclectic? I guess I would say but I liked it. Service was good, we only really had to wait once and that was for the check but by then they were being slammed with people so it wasnít a huge deal to me. Selection was solid, they didnít have anything overly exciting on but their main beers were all solid and they had about 12 on so there was plenty to choose from. I wasnít overly hungry so I just got an appetizer but I did try about half of the ruben sandwich which was awesome. Prices were great all around, I didnít really notice anything I would consider overpriced. Overall I had a great time checking out this pub. I do see a bit of Selinís Grove in this place and you locals have an awesome spot on your hands.

Unusual location in a quasi-residential/industrial area, which made it feel hidden away beyond the pale. Very enjoyable and diverse group of patrons every time that Iíve visited. The session beers are OK, but the impy stout and barleywine were interesting. The food was certainly reasonable, but I couldnít understand the kitchenís insistence that all the burgers needed to be grilled well done. They claimed that it was local government regulations, but I had no problem ordering burgers medium rare at other establishments in Las Cruces.

Arrived at El Paso airport and drove straight here for lunch prior to hitting up White Sands. Inside is a bit of a dive but the patio is cool and there is dogs hanging out there, and its nice for this town. Beer was decent enough and food was good. waitress was quite friendly.

Crappy little place but the food was great and beer ok. The Brewhouse is scary ceiling falling down & mold on the walls.
The coasters handing from the walls are a neat idea!
Beer selection is good

Loved the fact we could take our dogs and sit outside. Iíd give the service a little higher if the waitress hadnít insisted a guy with a growling dog go out through the front entrance, right by us.
Decent selection of house brews.
Nachos were excellent.
As for value, I would be here every night if High Desert was in my town.

Great green chili cheese burger and pretty good selection of house beers. Great rootbeer also. Price is right.

Fun place with diverse crowd and no nonsense party-friendly environment. Very interesting location in what is otherwise a residential zone. Kinda cool that way, feels like a secret hideout. Lots of beers to choose from, about a dozen. Unfortunately none were rockin when we were there but I would certainly go back.

Hard to find little building in Las Cruces. The inside is small, clean, and subdued. The service is friendly, helpful and prompt. The gamut of beers is wide, and to hear from my group, none of them are bad. The food is good pub fare, with an abundance of green chiles. For the nice selection of good beers, the prices are very reasonable. Overall, this is a great little brewpub, and well worth a visit.

I used to live in Las Cruces and came to HDBC a couple times a month at least. My rating is a little low - but the truth be told - the ambiance is terrible: dirty and lots of flies. The selection is small - but you know that going in. I do however rate the food as a 10 because the nachos are to die for! The extra small nachos are an entire meal and most of the time I canít finish them. If youíre in the LC area and are in the mood for a pretty solid micro-brew, then the HDBC is a good place to go. And if you like nachos itís a bonus!
