Stopped in here for about 10 mins whilst trying to find Hill Farmstead. The doors were unlocked and I looked around the lobby for a while but never found anybody. I really wanted directions since I knew they stocked some HF beers but alas, there was nobody here. Thats how they do in vermont. just leave yours doors unlocked. I like that kind of vibe. If someone had been there, I probably would have had a beer cuz I was so damned frustrated from looking for the brewery and being lost.

Do you need a place to stay while you’re visiting Hill Farmstead (and you forgot your camping gear?) This might be the place for you. They had 2 Hill Farmstead brews while I was there for the 2011 farmhouse beer festival, Edward (on draft!) and Everett. Yum. Good food. Rooms are pricey, but it’s a high end place. Very friendly. Of course, you can just have a meal and a couple of beers, you don’t have to stay.
