Turribul beer. Kind of a cool setup. Didnít try the food, but the beer was quite offputting and the sampler gave you about 1.5 ounces for each sample and it was not on the cheap side.

Visited a bit before noon on a Thursday for the sampler and an appetizer. The interior is wood paneling, and a bit worn. Large bar, with tables spread throughout. Also a nice large patio. Game room had foosball and pool. Out front, there was a board listing the beer and freshness details of all the beers, which was a nice touch. All 5 beers I sampled were clean, though somewhat restrained in their flavors. The appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip) may possibly be the worst version of the app that I have ever had. The service was attentive, though didnít go out of their way to talk about the beers. Certainly a tourist spot.
64 = ★★ (Just ok)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Friendly and knowledgeable service. Place a new brewmaster with promise. Strange atmosphere that one could expect from a micro brewery on a highly touristy area. Didnít eat here.

As for the selection, I gave it a 3 - one for each beer available. Itís a neat bar, but that was about it. My wife of 3 days had a summer ale. It was kind of odd. Almost a hefeweizen banana note at the start with a small malt back end. I had an IPA which was unbalanced. Iím glad I went, but I wouldnít return.

The location is nice with a view of a small pond outdoors; the service was really bad. The food was average, but I would say the beer was pretty good. Would go back for the beers - not the food.

They really should not call themselves a brewery only having 3 beers on tap... i had a porter, amber ale and a raspberry wheat... the porter was decent but that was it... did not stay after trying their 3 beers... would rather spend my time at the mellow mushroom

Stop in around late October and watched some football, not many people there but service was good. Only three beers on tap, a blonde, amber and raspberry wheat. Food was good, but was just ok. Decent

The worst thing about this place is the difficulty in finding it. I donít know if this is a universal problem, but we sure as hell had an awful time finding it. I was so happy to be out of the damned car when we arrived that I may have been overly happy with the joint, which is a good thing because there isnít a single remarkable thing about the joint. They had 4 brews on tap during my visit, 3 of which were par at best. The bartender was a distincly ditzy, but friendly valley girl. Ambiance = sports bar. They donít have much pride in the fact that they offer unique beers, but basically operate on the premise that the game is on and people will hang out and drink beer. Anyway, it wasnít bad in any way, but it didnít excede expectations either.

Place Rating #103. Nice place that is not very easy to find. Large bar with smaller area dedicated to not bar atmosphere. Brewing tanks right in the middle of the place, almost like they are just plopped down some place (kind of cool actually). The waitress mentioned in casual conversation that new management just started around Feb 2007 and that they are ust now getting started with making some major changes. She sounded very excited about it. Food was average and the beer ranged from bad to quite good. Definately worth a stop by if in the area. Also, beer is DIRT CHEAP HERE. $2 pints and $2 for the sampler platter that included 5 2-3 oz samples. NICE.

Found this place in April 2007 ... itís hard to find, hidden in the back of a shopping center area. We went at the lunch hour and there were only about 4 other people there. The food was tasty and the service was good enough. The beers (of which there were about 5 choices) were OK, and it was fun to watch the duck games out back. Worth a stop if youíre on the island.
