Awesome. This place is a MUST stop if youíre traveling past Hudson on I-94. Just a mile or so off of I-94, not hard to get to. Just a laid back kind of place. The staff minds their own business, but is generally friendly. Selection is.....nothing short of amazing. Pretty much every awesome micro they carry is also available in singles, which makes it even cooler. At any given time, they will have a full selection of New Glarus, Oskar Blues, Bells, Founders, Dark Horse, Stone, Southern Tier, Two Brothers, pretty much all of the great beers you can find in this area except Surly in a one stop shop. If youíre in the area take 10 minutes to stop by, you wonít be disappointed! Every time the girlfriend and I go past Hudson we stop here, even though we only live 20 mins away! Open 7 days a week for your convenience.

I was very pleased with the service last night. We ended up talking beer for quite a while. Itís always fun to going to a beer store and having conversations with knowledgeable people. Great beer selection including Stone, Founders, New Glarus, Dogfish Head, all the heavy hitters that you canít get at MN bottle shops. I will definitely be back and is the best in Hudson.

This is the place to go if youíre looking for small Wisconsin craft beers (like New Glarus) and youíre coming from the Twin Cities. Unlike Minnesota liquor stores, theyíre open on Sunday. I was able to find pretty much everything I was looking for, and since I bought a case of different styles of New Glarus beer, I received a free New Glarus glass as an extra. The store is a bit dark and gloomy, since the building itís in is an old one and part of it is devoted to a restaurant and wine bar (closed on Sundays). I wasnít really able to gauge the level of service, since I knew what I was looking for and went right to it. Selection was good, with an extensive make-your-own-six pack area with a wide variety of single bottles. I was on a New Glarus expedition and was very happy with what I found, so canít really speak to the selection beyond this (though I also found South Shore Breweryís Nut Brown Ale from Ashland, WI). Prices might have been a bit high, but I was pleased overall with my experience.
**Update: 3/5/2011: first time Iíve gone there looking for beer other than New Glarus and was very pleasantly surprised by what I found. Three Floyds was on my list and I found not one, not two, but 7 current beers from that brewery (though not the Dreadnaught I was specifically looking for, unfortunately). I spent a lot more than I was anticipating.

Really nice selection of MN and regional singles, as well as all the relevant NG beers (just got in a shipment of Belgian Red and Raspberry Tart a few days before we got there). Also have stuff like Furthermore, Founders, Flat Earth, etc. Decent prices, good singles selection (most things are available as singles), and knowledgeable service, at least during our trip.

I found this place due to this site. Thanks! When I cross the river for my New Glarus, I stop here and grab all of the brands that donít make it across the river. The people there were very helpful, plus they threw in a New Glarus glass after purchasing a case. Great store...best in the area.

Been here many times, but had yet to enter a rating. For the Minnesotan, hereís your stop for DFH, Stone, New Glarus, Fort Collins, etc. About the same price as Chiconeís and more helpful service (at least in my experience).

Casanova now has Stone IPA, PA, Ruination, Arrogant Bastard, DFH 120 and a few more 4pks. A bunch or Southern Tier, Oskar Blues, and new beer arriving everyweek. They also have the largest single bottle rack in the cities. They have over 250 12oz bottles to pick from and they are both priced individualy. Definatly worth the stop or make a trip out of it because they are open everyday even sunday.

Casanovaís has most of the beers that are available at Chiconeís, but with a much better atmosphere and generally friendlier staff. The singles selection is also much better than Chiconeís and prices seem comparable. It is worth checking out both stores if you are from the cities and want to get all the domestics that arenít available in Minnesota. One bad thing is that the foreign beer selection is not very good here. Old Rating: 74
Wow, this place seems to improve every time that I visit it. Great selection, and lots of singles to choose from. Prices are a little high, but otherwise it is outstanding. Oh yeah, they also apparently do growler fills on a number of the beers that they carry!

I love this place. Very friendly atmosphere. Staff is always eager to help. Sometimes there is even a dog walking around to pet. Nice selection of New Glarus, Tyranena etc. Southern Tier, Dogfish, Founders and a nice mix of imports. They just started doing a singles section which is pretty nice.
