Ok, no smoking room has some good food, but it is hard to get there since it’s always overcrowded. Smoking room is overcrowded as well, but the people is really friendly and staff just looks terrific although is really friendly. Qasek is very good, and this is the best place to drink it. So it is the best beer place in Ostrava (especially if you’re not a crazy disco freak starving for some nightly noisy crazy dances on Stodolni by weekends)

Small smokey brewpub, not much attention was given to decorating the place. The waitress was friendly if a bit slow (alone to serve the whole place). They had 4 house beers on tap, only beer no food. There is a bottleshop on the second story that appears to be owned by the same people but it was closed when we went so I have no feedback to give about that. I probably wouldn’t return to Ostrava anytime soon, but this is probably a must stop in the city.

Unfinished basement-like room that gets quite smoky in the evening. Service was slow, but then again the lady was overworked. Beers were so-so at best, even though they were presented very carefully, as is the norm in these parts. I wouldn’t make a detour to come here (Ostrava is far from a looker anyway), but these guys are trying to get good beer going in Ostrava, which is laudable.

Tiny brewpub in center of Ostrava. Home beers were very good, especially the polotmave which was toasty and creamy. Miam! Interior looks run-down, old furnitures, odd paintings on the walls, smokey like the Mordor... But this does not reflects in the quality and freshness of the beer. Regulars is a mix of youngsters and old folks. Food selection is limited to snacks. Drink curiosity, they serve a "pivni grog" which is a mix of unfermented beer wort, rum and hot water. Not bad at all.
