You do not go the the Hofbrauhaus because of beer, they only have four to chose from, you go here to have a fun time with friends in a rowdy setting where you are encouraged to get on the furniture. We went with some German friends and they thought it was great as well. I fun time will be had, unless you are a stick in the mud.

Nice atmosphere with traditional Bavarian live music. Indoor beerhall is very well setup, the Biergarten is a must when weather permits. Food is good. Beer selection is limited to 3-4 style (just like in Munich).

Off-shoot of the Hofbrauhaus, kind of cool atmosphere. It was dead when we visited, but we went on a Sunday afternoon so it kind of makes sense. The beer and the food were really overpriced. If you are in Vegas, this really isn’t worth the trip off the Strip.

Got rinsed for $150.00, but had a good time.
Walked the mile or so from the strip and arrived at 15.00, thirsty and hot. Very few in (the band start at 17.00), we have a good look round. It is impressive, the inner courtyard/beergarden is lovely and obviously very close to the original back in Munich (as I remember it). The main drinking hall is spacious, bright and completely devoid of slot machines, very un Vegas like. There is a smaller bar as you first enter, but we went straight into the hall.
The beers were fine, as was the huge plate of white radish we shared. We sat alone until about 16.30 and were going to leave, but two blokes and then a couple were shown to our table and with the band about to start we stayed and got bladdered! Luckily the couple who came to sit with us were staying at our hotel and she (wasn’t drinking) gave us a lift back to the Excalibur.
The staff get very excited if you don’t give the full 20% gratuity in here, so please be warned, $25.00 is a big tip in my eyes, no matter how many beers she brought to me!

Overpriced and somewhat poor rip off of the actual Hofbrauhaus. They only have four beers available which isn’t surprising but at $15/liter, it is overpriced. The atmosphere is somewhat like the actual location but the killer for me was that the house brass band wasn’t playing polka- they instead played YMCA and Sweet Caroline. Very disappointing.

Went to a vegas convention last weekend and met up with about 40 friends here. They were able to seat us all together on 3 very large tables. Separate our tabs, etc with no problems whatsoever.
The food is some of the better german bavarian style that i’ve had in the states. The sausages are all excellent, the pretzel with the various mustards and cheeses are top notch. The kraut is amazing as well.
They only had 3 beers available and the helles, dunkel and weisse.
The dunkel and weisse were well crafted, and better than 98% of what you’ll find in vegas. I didn’t try the helles.
Beers are served in 1L steins that are huge. Or if you want to go overboard you can order a 2L DAS Boot here.
But the gimmick is that if you order DAS Boot you keep the boot. (the boots are really cool but since they are large handblown glass they set you back $80 and come filled with beer) I know that similar boots (warsteiner) go for this much on Ebay so it’s still worth it if you want a beer boot.
That said, the beers were enjoyable and the food was great. They also had a live polka band and waitresses who paddled the occasional customer who requested it.
This is the kind of place that you will really enjoy with friends even if they are into macros. The prices are a bit steep, but it’s not unreasonable by Vegas price standards.

Fun place to go during the convention. 4 beers available, including the Maibock recenctly. The Hefeweizen was well done and the food was good. I’m not familiar with German food but this was all tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals. Not a true beer destination but a fun place to go to once or twice a year. Good service and a fun band and dancing to boot!! The bathroom attendent was a bit weird though....I don’t need to be handed a paper towel to dry my hands...

You can’t go into this place and think you are going to get a great beer selection. It’s a typical german beer hall, large beers, big plates of German food, singing and other shenanigans. Go have fun and don’t think about the beer selection.

The beer selection is pretty limited, but the beer that they do have is good, particularly if you like the Germanic styles. I caught a waitress that was new, and knew absolutely nothing about beer. She was able to get my questions answered, so some there knew enough. The food was really good and the atmosphere was friendly. It is an authentic German environ, nice, clean and fun.
