Brewery and taproom off of 29th in the West Highlands. English style beers on tap and cask. Really solid beers and attentive, knowledgable staff. One of the best new breweries in the Denver area.

a converted gas station/auto shop, apparently. small tasting room with some bar seating available and a handful of tables. most of the beers available on cask and some also available on draft. for the most part, the beers are English styles and traditionally done. theyíre also all pretty solid. good service, somewhat limited parking, and all around a good place.

Cool brewery located in a former gas station. Tried 7 different beers (4 of which were on cask). They specialize in english style beers, which I am not the biggest fan of, but all the beers were kick-ass. Cool atmosphere, great beers! One of the top breweries to check out in Denver!

Visited November 2012.
This place is an old gas station turned into a brewery I think. On one side is the brewery in the garage. The other side is the bar which was dimly lit and fairly empty at the time aside from a couple of locals. The styles were pretty much all English. The dry hopped ESB was nice and the porter and mild were both good. I didnít care for the regular ESB or the blonde ale. I enjoyed my beers and enjoyed the music that was on the radio. The service was friendly too. Itís a bit out of the way from the rest of the beer destinations in Denver and in a quiet neighborhood but I wouldnít mind hanging out here again.

Well lit old service station with a small outdoor beer garden. Service is great with a friendly knowledgeable staff. selection is god with 4 cask beers and usually 6 tap beers. A little pricey, but the beers are excellent. Definatly worth checking out!

Another update - they now have a large patio out front, so a lot more seating than they used to have - they also now have FOUR handpumps - fuck yes! (Update - this place has been open less than two months, but I have been coming here at least once a week - I have really grown to love it - the people are awesome and the atmosphere is extremely comfortable - perhaps the best part are the casks - they rotate quite frequently and, while they are often the same beers, they always have a different twist, which is often a different dry hop, so even if it is a beer you have had before, the experience will be different - all their beers, when served on cask, are crazy delicious - love this place) Smallish brewery in a mostly residential part of town, not far from Mondo Vino - in what is probably the nicest renovation of an auto shop I have ever seen - they also have their own parking lot, which is a huge bonus in this part of town - nice hybrid of a British and modern American pub - 8 taps and two hand pumps - though they only had three beers on my visit, they are working hard to produce more so they can keep the taps full and be open more than three days a week - strictly British style beers, many of them session beers - beers are the real deal - not these Americanized, overly hopped "British style ales" you see most places - beers are available in 20 ounce, 16 ounce or 10 ounce pours - the brewer is from the UK and is adamant about his "no flights" policy, so 10 ounces is the smallest you can get - I respect that - the selection is not huge, but there is no one else in town focusing strictly on authentic British ales, so this gives them an advantage (although some would argue that Pints has been doing it for years, I would argue that their beer isnít all that authentic - more importantly, their beer is also not as good as the beer here) - staff is professional and knowledgeable about the beer - clearly not just some young tools hired on the cheap, like some other breweries in town hire - they have food trucks and hopes to convert some of their parking lot space into a patio in the future - a very promising new place that I am extremely excited about having in town.

Visited late afternoon on a Thursday with a couple of friends. Modern taproom with bar with about 6 seat straight ahead, with a few tables spread throughout the room. On the other side of the building is the brewery, which is nicely showcased. They had 6 beers on draft, and 2 on cask. All beers I had were really well made, and very much focused on session beers.. The crowd had a really great vibe to it, everyone was very into the beer and in a great mood. Service was great, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. Great spot, Iíl be back for certain.

Excellent stop about 10 minutes from Crooked Stave. Definitely not near downtown, but worth the trek. A small neighborhood brewery (with all the positives and negatives associated with it) in a converted gas station. A bluntly honest, boisterous and altogether fun owner who spent a good 30 minutes chatting with us about his business plan and the brewing industry in general. Cool brewing area and bar. THERE BEERS ARE SPOT ON! I didnít know real ale could be made this well. All perfectly conditioned and amazing tasting. Iíve been dreaming about getting some more of the bitter for about a week now. Excellent place and I hope they thrive!

Visited with a friend on October 10, 2012. Nice fast service. Didnít eat, not sure you can. Nice clean modern feel to the place. Too bad the smallest sample size was 10 oz. Great beers, Iíd go back and can for sure recommend the place!
