Visited with Beerbiker and Evil stepdad. After 30 km on bike in the blazing sun, we were looking for a refreshment at bryghuset no 5, and thats what we got. The place is like a standard cafe with metal tables outside by the pedestrian street and we found a place under a tree. We ordered 3 different draft beers, which was their entire selection that day (aside from some very general bottles) I ordered a classic danish dish, shooting star, which was made from scrats with fresh fish, so that was nice. Their own beers are quite avarage but it was good for what we needed.

[On tour with svoger, svogergylp and adenila.] On the way to Ellinge we stopped for a sip at this place. Okay beer and okay friendly information. Nice place with a wish for more different beers on tap, but another sure visit can maybe chance that statement.

Nice atmosfere and food is certainly allright. Only Holbaek brews are available, which is allright since we are at the brewery itself. Staff could be more informative about the brew.

Nice, local café bar, quite stylish, with a nice outdoor area at the back. Quiet. Very good and friendly service. Beers are quite good, too. Overall, easily the best place to drink beer in Holbæk.

The interior is pretty standard cafe looks. Earth colors with steel tables and bar. In the summer there is the possibility to sit outdoors. Staff has little or no knowledge of beer, not even the ones they make on the premises which I find kind of strange.

Like a cafe, a pub and a restaurant at the same time. The service is fine. The selection of beers is their own on tap and a few others - which is ok. The food from the menu-card is beer-courses and rather ordinary. But some evenings, at beer tastings, the menu is very excellent. Go there for tasting the local beers and have a decent meal.

32 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 7/20
I find the interior like opposites meets, some of it is very rustic with old Italian commercial posters, but at the same time modern metal cafe tables, and a notice board with local events posted - both on and off premises. The service is friendly and quite fast, but with next to no knowledge of beer. The selection includes 4 of their own beers on draft as well as the possibility to buy it off premises on 5 liter party fass, but they also carry both mainstream and high end Carlsberg products. The food is genuine Danish provincial courses spiced up with some beer - close to what my grandmother made. Their own beers are very average, so only go here if You need the "ticks".
