Nice pub near Holborn tube station. Not much wide ambient but cured details with a nice draught impiant. Very good choose of tap beers, weekly rotations of tap avaibles with something real ales. Not much quick service (especialy for kitchen) but kindly staff.

A good addition to the London beer scene, it has a pleasant, clean feel to it and is very well placed. It’s a little difficult to get close to the bars to make your selection, but the range appears to be pretty decent. Good seating and comfortable. Good pleasant place to go.
Update Feb ’13. Seems to be going from strength to strength on the beer front and the service. It still lacks some atmosphere and the food range is uninspiring but is a terrific place to visit.

Interessant pub tan per la selecció com per la paret de tiradors. El refugi idoni després de molt caminar sota la pluja

Visited this pub 18/1-2013. Nice cosy cornerpub ( think it is rather new, when visited ). Nice atmosphere, rather busy with friendly staff, beers in good condition..

Nice place. Was pretty quiet on my late afternoon visit. Decent enough selection of beers at good prices. Well worth stopping at as part of a crawl or settling down if they have something you really like on. Came here to try the place and check out the marble early grey ipa.

I have visited this pub a few times and it has never disappointed. It offers a range of styles from high quality breweries, on both cask and keg, and thse have been served in good condition. Service has been friendly, the atmosphere convivial and prices aren’t bad either. A pleasant place to have a drink.

Stopped in when I was in the area and was quite impressed. A nice selection of taps and casks with a cider or two. The bartender was extremely friendly and offered up some good suggestions and conversation. The place seemed relatively new and was quite a nice set up. Didn’t try the food on this visit but if I ever have the chance to stop in again I will give it a go.

Small but interesting modern establishment with a good selection of cask and craft keg. Like the Yorkshire manager trying to educate the soft southerners in dark beers.

Visited for the first time on Tuesday 11/09/12 around 4.45/5pm. Place was pretty empty on arrival and I left after one beer so ambiance set to a default 3 - will have to re-visit at a busier time. Stylish interior, modern square horseshoe shaped bar with the beers displayed on wooden boards by style and in a full list. Nice way to display the availability in terms of helping those less familiar with beers to select one to match their tastes. Selection was good, a mix of cask and keg with beers from Germany, the US, local London micros, national micros, no macros that I could see. Bar man was friendly and offered a few reccomondations. I liked this place and will head back anytime as part of a crawl. For reference it took me about 15 minutes to walk here from the Old Coffee House in Soho, then another 10 minutes to walk to the Craft Beer Co. I’d imagine the Euston tap is reachable in around 15 minutes on foot also. I don’t think I’d head here as a one off destination for the night, not quite enough in terms of rarer, more interesting choices for me. Just goes to show how spoilt for choice we have become in London over the last few years, back in the late 90’s/early 00’s I’d have been all over this place like a rash !!!

My first visit here was yesterday (Saturday 15th September 2012) thanks to Glen ’imdownthepub’ for the tip. We visited with Jackie but not Simon who was working. It was a lovely day so we sat outside and soaked up the sun and had a Tiny Rebel Urban IPA along with a London Fields Delta IPA, the beers were served well, the chap behind the bar was friendly, this is situated in a nice place. I think that this place is only likely to improve. I guess it could get busy from time to time but it was fairly quiet when we visited, not sure how many beers were on offer but the selection was jolly decent, add to this the fact that you are within easy walking distance of at least four to five decent pubs, admittedly some more so for the interior than the beers, then this could easily be on a circuit in this area.
