Great store with a great selection...by far the best in San Diego They definitely have some rareties and if you ask them they might bring something good out from the back for you. There prices are great...often times you can get beer from them for cheeper than you can at the brewery.

Pretty nice selection, with a few rarities, including Pizza Port stuff. In fact I think this is the only place to get PP beers other than at the brewpub. They also turn out to be a lot cheaper here too. The staff was helpful in locating the latest batch of Mother of All Beers that had just come in.

A beer lovers dream store. So many hard to find brews in one place will boggle your mind the first time you walk in. The staff are friendly and knowledeable too. Great place.

HWC probably has the best selections in San Diego County, with reasonable prices to boot. They don’t have them any more, but I have scored a westvleteren 12, a Stone 5th Anniversary IPA, a 1997 J.W. Lees Harvest Ale as well as a few other rare treasures at Holiday Wine Cellar. Knowledgable staff well trained by their BEER man Justin, who has hooked me up in the past. They have all of the locals...AleSmith, Stone, Pizza Port, Ballast Point, Green Flash and other SoCal brewers.

I love this place. It has the best beer selection in San Diego County. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful. Some the beers that have been recommended to me by the staff have been excellent. So they know there stuff. The beer selection is a lot of local micro’s and a good deal of Belgain and European beers as well. Also, the selection changes quite a bit as well with new beers being added all the time. If your looking for something special, the staff can probably get it for you. Also, from time to time you’ll come across some gems that you wouldn’t expect to see. I recently got a Stone Russian Imperial from 2001 for the regular price it would normally sell for and I picked up a bottle of Alesmith Horny Devil from 2002 a while back as well. It’s well worth the drive to get out there.

Small but well run store. Staff was knowledgable. One of the few places that carries Pizza Port bottles.

Nice selection of beers. Perhaps not as good a selection as Hi Times. But I can always find 3 or 4 beers I haven’t seen before and Hi Times did NOT have. Good selection of Belgian and English beers. Good selection of singles for Cal and Pac NW micros.

I was really excited about this place before I got there. They have lots of singles and belgians, but nothing that really blew me away. Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by Town and Country/Premier, but I only found 1 beer here that really interested me (Doggie Claws). They have a few West Coast beers that arent distriubted out east, but a lot of the beers I can get up the road in Mass.

The best bottle shop I visited while in SD. Lots of singles and good prices. Check this one out!

Pretty easy to get to, right off of the 15 and the 78. I was turned onto this place by Greg at Stone (only a few minutes from there). They have a great collection of micros and Belgian ales. Not as much as Hi Times, but prices are better. Staff is very knowledgeable.
