Excellent selection, mostly all in the fridges, which is a good thing for this part of America. California seems to be very regional in its micro distribution though so don’t expect to find all the breweries you’d want to discover. A very good bottle shop at the state level I’m sure.

Seriously, this place absolutely rocks. The guys and girls who work here know their stuff and more than willing to hep you out when you need it. They’ll even carry your hoards of beer out to the car for you and give you discounts for being a loyal customer. They carry numerous belgains that are well cooled and kept. And thank GOD they know how to categorize their beer. Great GREAT beer store.

BY FAR, the best beer store in San Diego. A little bit of a drive from downtown, but worth it. An excellent selection of West Coast and Belgians, and the prices are good, also. This is one of the better beer stores in all of SoCal. Enjoy!

cool style building inside, selection is good they keep the beer in the coolers a bit cold - but the glassware selection is bad ass!

What a great place to buy beer, just make sure you wear your jacket because they seem to keep the entire store at cellar temperature. They have tons of West Coast micros as well as a decent selection of imports. Apparently it sometimes helps to ask about beer that is not on display (the secret beer geek stash). The wine selection appeared to be massive also.

This is easily San Diego's best beer store. Almost all the beers are temperature controlled and the selection is excellent. Great selection of west coast micros. They sell most everything as singles so it's easy to try lots of beers without purchasing a six-pack. One my last trip I found a bottle of De Dolle Oerbier Special Reserva 2002. Also a great place for wine enthusiasts.
